6 The DIMAX multi-purpose shelving line is made up of models D10 D20 D30 D40 enriching the vast range of products that Armes manufactures and proposes to the market. This is a shelving system that allows the creation of highly-structured and variable storage levels according to the specific needs of the user, and represents an innovative evolution from traditional shelving. The most suitable type of upright and model of shelf to be used are chosen in relation to the performance required, such as the height, the load DIMAX ONE SYSTEM, A THOUSAND SOL D20 is the appropriate functional response to the specific needs of archives, libraries and depots. The T -shaped upright with 8 folds provides the shelving considerable strength and load capacity, as well as the possibility to create mezzanines with one passageway level. D10 is the lightest and thinnest line in the DIMAX family, suitable for the creation of traditional storage systems of limited height, and for use as a functional and decorative element for offices, shops and homes, thanks to the essential design of the upright with 4 folds.

8 Thanks to the different sections and constructional criteria, the three models of uprights, joined in pairs by diagonals and/or link bars, allow the creation of frames that can be adapted in terms of dimensions and capacity to various applications. Rapid assembly, solidity and extreme versatility are the unique features of the three models of frames; the bases are fitted with metal or PVC foot plates, according to the height of the shelving and the type of the upright. THE FRAMES: SIMPLE, SOLID, VERSATILE As for the D10 frame, the uprights are joined by coupled link bars provided with safety slots to prevent accidental detaching. 10 CROSS-BRACING The wide range of DIMAX components and their high-standard finish provide the system a level of aesthetics and functionality that makes it suitable for environments other than the traditional storage systems. The DIMAX multi-purpose shelving can thus be used for application in offices, archives and libraries, as well as in shops, and represents simple furnishing solutions even for home use. The DIMAX shelves feature innovative and patented characteristics. Their many variants and dimensions make the system extremely flexible and adaptable. 11 section, with no need for welding or spot welding, unlike in similar products. This solution, as well as providing significant strength, also ensures high load capacities and resolves the problems relating to safety, by eliminating any reachable sharp edges. The Z shelves are available in versions ZM and ZD, in relation to their load capacity. TS OF A SYSTEM SHELF CLIP CHEST OF DRAWERS The special configuration of the shelves allows the simple insertion of stiffeners in predetermined positions; this means that considerable load capacities can be reached. Owing to the possibility to modify the number of the stiffeners at any time and to their easy positioning, the capacity of the shelves can be modified over time, depending on their specific use. DIVIDER FOR PERFORATED SHELVES PERFORATED SHELVES The shelves can be regular or perforated, so as to allow the application of dividers for creating compartments of various dimensions. The regular shelves feature dividers that fit onto and can slide along the shelves. In relation to the size of the shelves, containers can also be used for inserting mobile dividers and storing loose materials of small or medium dimensions.

14 The elaborate range of shelves in the DIMAX system is considerably enhanced, for models D30 D40, by the D and Z beams. These are reversible beams that can be used for positioning galvanised metal shelves as well as shelves made of other materials, creating storage levels with significant load capacity. 16 The load capacities of the different elements consider the weight of the structure itself and the useful load, assuming that the load is uniformly distributed (u.d.l.). The load capacity of the frames is calculated considering the factors that define the working conditions of the frames: the number, the position in height of the shelves, the use of vertical cross-bracings, and the characteristics of the floor anchoring system. The deflection of the shelves used in the DIMAX system is contained within 1/200 of the span. 18 The special design and construction of the DIMAX system makes this type of shelving ideal for creating mezzanine structures, even with multi-tiered and of extended heights, allowing a rational exploitation of space. Various solutions are available for the decking, from perforated or closed galvanised floor strips, to wooden panels. In addition, when dictated by aesthetic requirements, other finishes are available (linoleum, carpet, etc).
