3 About the Promoters About the Promoters Hemant Bhave (MD & CEO): Mr. Bhave is an M.Sc. in Physics and an AMIE Engineer. He is the founder of the Company and an inventor with 2 patents to his name. He has grown the company to the status it is today Prasad Bhave (Director of Operations): Prasad has completed his B.Tech & M.Tech from IIT Madras in mechanical engineering, and has completed his M.S. in Aerospace from Georgia Tech, Atlanta, GA. He has worked in the US in various management consulting roles before joining his family business. 3

5 Company Overview-Timeline Started supply of 12 variants of Quadrant Assemblies to Nagpur, Rajkot, Rudrapur and Zaheerabad plants. Entered the Aerospace component manufacturing business Started a state of the art tool room and prototyping facility in Nagpur. Selected as a supplier for new platform of tractors to be launched by M & M Awarded contract for supply of 3 complex structural aircraft assemblies for the Su-30 project. Awarded the Best Supplier in Sheet Metal Commodity award for

8 Company Overview-Tool Room Precision tool room functional at unit 3 housed in 10,000 sqft area one stop shop for all prototyping, tooling (press tools, moulds, etc), fixturing needs. Machines: Makino F5 VMC 22 KW/ 12,000 RPM, integral spindle 1000 mm X 550 mm X 450 mm table movement, 1000 Kgs load carrying capacity 117/95 N-m torque Capable of machining Ti, Al, Steel, Inconel etc. Makino DUO 43 wirecut 470X430X300 mm stroke Capable of machining 5 pass conditions. KENT surface grinder 1000 mm X 500 mm stroke, fully automated 3 axis movement 8

9 Company Overview-Tool Room Design Facility In house design and development capabilities 3d Design software (Solidworks 2013) with kinematic simulation, FEA capabilities Expertise in sheet-metal tooling, manufactured several progressive, compound, deepdrawing, complex forming. Solid modeling, simulation, analysis and design proving of dies/jigs/fixtures Manufacturability analysis of components being developed by our customers 9

10 Company Overview - Press Shop Mechanical Presses (200 T, 150 T, 100 T, 35 T, 10 T) Hydraulic Press (100 T and 40T die cushion) New press shop to include additional presses from Tons and hydraulic press 200 tons Factory shed for new press shop is ready, expected to be fully functional by August

12 Company Overview Sustainability Efforts M & M approved 7 tank hot phosphating system Tank Size: 8ftX4ftX4ft Priming, Painting processes developed. Use of PU primer and paint Sustainability was a key consideration when designing the painting plant. Use of hybrid gas-electric temperature control system, to reduce time to attain temperature, and minimize carbon footprint. Specially designed paint booth with rapidly alternating air flow to minimize particulate emissions. Fully functional ETP and special dedicated area to store solid waste to eliminate ground water contamination due to solid waste disposal 12

Challenge was to make hub tooling with involute serration and holes of diameter smaller than sheet thickness. 13
