9 Technical Specifications Minimum and Maximum Tube Unit Weight! The minimum weight of the tube unit with the collimator must be about 31 kg.! An additional weight of 46 kg is allowed for the tube unit with the collimator and other parts mounted on the interface tube support to trunnion rings including additional weights mounted to the support arm. (See chapter Installation - Adjusting the Tube Unit Weight ) Up to two counterbalance weights (2kg each) shall be mounted on the Tube support arm in case the weight is below 31 kg in order to reach the minimum weight of the tube unit. For installation instructions see chapter Installation - Adjusting the Tube Unit Weight. The tube and the collimator must weigh at least 27kg to reach the minimum weight of 31 kg (e.g., 27 kg + 2 x 2 kg = 31 kg or 29 kg +2 kg = 31 kg). Additional weights are not included in the scope of delivery and must be procured by the customer. Additional weights must be made of: Steel (S235JRG2C according to EN ), Surface Coating EN Fe/Zn8/B. The weights must be produced according to the following dimensions: Tube Stand 3D V T VFT 01S / 432

10 Cable Inlet Cable inlet for wall and ceiling. Power Supply The power supply unit (PSU) can be operated the following input voltage and frequency (nominal values): Description Min. Typ. Max. 400 V AC Power Supply U n - 15% /440 V AC /480 V AC **) + 10% Mains frequency f n *) 60 Hz *) *) 50 Hz *) *) The unit works with mains frequencies of 50 and 60 Hz electric conversion. The function is not influenced by fluctuations as specified in EN This means +4% / -6% and +/-15% for island operation. **) 480 V AC is the factory default. Note 380 V may also be used as power supply without any limitation, because of the 15% toleration: 400 V - 60 V = 340 V (min). 36 / T VFT 01S 04 Technical Manual

13 Technical Specifications Climatic Conditions Transportation and Storage Operation Admissible Ambient Temperature -20 C to +70 C +10 C to 35 C Admissible Relative Humidity not 10% to 95% 20% to 75% condensing Admissible Barometric Pressure 500 hpa to 1060 hpa 800 hpa to 1060 hpa! The product shall only be used below 2000 m (absolute altitude).! The Tube Stand should not be subjected to extreme and fast temperature changes (both in cold and hot environments), excessive dust or high humidity. For further precautions during transportation please refer to the sections installation, operation and maintenance in this manual. Room Planning Warning Inadequate ceiling of the room for the ceiling stand! Serious injury of death by falling ceiling stand. Define the requirements for the ceiling in the planning guide. Caution Check before installation/delivery, that the planned room is not part of explosionendangered areas! Tube Stand 3D V T VFT 01S / 432

14 Tube Support Warning The maximum ceiling loads have to be observed! The acceptable single load per ceiling rail (e.g. Unistrut) with a hanger spacing of 500 to 800 mm must be at least 7.0 kn. The acceptable load per hanger must be at least 5.0 kn.! Sub -construction must be designed so that the following listed holding forces of the longitudinal rails in the anchoring plane can be held and passed on to the building structure. In particular, the listed horizontal forces must be observed. For the design of the sub-construction, this means that they must be sufficiently hardened. Vertical as well as horizontal movements are inadmissible in the area of the sub-construction. 40 / T VFT 01S 04 Technical Manual
