2 President s Message It is my pleasre to invite yo to participate in the 2016 TORCH Annal Conference & Trade Show. For 25 years and with over 170 rral and commnity hospitals located throghot the state, this event is the premiere sorce for qality edcation and networking opportnities for rral hospital leaders and decision-makers in Texas. The constantly changing landscape of rral health care reqires knowledge, data, vigilance and collaboration. As or member hospitals prepare for the transformation from fee-for-service to valebase payment systems, they mst deal with isses related to reimbrsement, workforce, technology, and qality, and together we mst work to find the right soltions to help ensre or ftre viability. Throghot the 2016 TORCH Annal Conference & Trade Show, we will explore each of these opportnities in great depth in order to help rral hospital exectives, trstees and other stakeholders scceed both financially and operationally in an emerging poplation health environment. While or hospital attendees seek opportnities to learn important, timely health care information, while earning contining edcation credits, they are also very enthsiastic abot interacting with yo to learn abot the latest technologies, prodcts and services yo have to offer. 7 Exhibitor Reglations Exhibit spaces are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications mst be accompanied by payment in fll and received in the TORCH office by the deadline of March 22, No applications will be accepted by phone. If yo plan to have compters or other eqipment in yor exhibit area, they shold be removed when the meeting is not in progress. Pipe and drape between/behind exhibits is NOT sed; entire exhibit hall is an open concept plan. Note: Yo do not pay extra for exhibit table, chairs, or schedled meals and receptions dring the conference. 1. Assignment of Exhibits: Exhibit space assignments will be made pon receipt and acceptance of application, in order of receipt and as space permits. The application and exhibit hall Floor Plan with yor selected exhibit location mst be retrned with yor payment by March 22. [See Floor Plan for space locations and nmbers.] A confirmation letter with the assigned exhibit space nmber will be sent by retrn mail. If the space reqested is not available, a different space at the same level will be assigned. A company that has not settled all previos acconts with TORCH will not be assigned exhibit space. TORCH reserves the right to adjst exhibit space type/ location and to accept/reject applications as to the space available and compatibility of vendor/display for the meeting prposes and TORCH standards. 2. All representatives mst be registered in advance on the form provided, mst wear an official conference badge at all times, in the meeting and exhibit areas, and dring conference events. It is imperative that all individals staffing exhibits at the conference have fll knowledge of the exhibit reglations prior to the conference. Please give these reglations, a copy of the prospects, and the completed copy of yor agreement to those individals before they travel to the meeting. By signing yor agreement yo bind all company representatives to the exhibit reglations. 3. Electricity, phone, and adio-visal eqipment will be available for a fee from the Hyatt Regency Dallas. Contact presentation services, at (214) , to arrange for adio-visal eqipment. Order forms for electricity and phones are enclosed please complete and send to the hotel prior to March 22, Exhibitors may reqest that they not be placed adjacent to specific other exhibitors, bt TORCH does not garantee that sch reqests can be honored. 5. Representatives of companies/organizations not exhibiting, sponsoring, nor registered for the conference are not permitted entrance to meetings, events, nor the exhibit hall. 6. Representatives sbstitting for previosly registered company exhibitors will be reqired to show pictre and company identification when reqesting on-site registration/permission to exhibit and/or attend. Sbstittions are limited to one per company. 7. Exhibit items and eqipment shold not project beyond the space allotted, obstrct the view nor interfere with exhibit floor traffic. 8. Exhibit materials may not be gled, nailed, or otherwise affixed to walls, doors, or crtains anywhere in the hotel that might case defacement. Damage from failre to observe this notice is payable by the exhibitor. Prior approval from the hotel is reqired before hanging signs, banners, or displays. 9. Explanations, demonstrations, or distribtion of materials shold take place within exhibit space in order to avoid infringement on rights and privileges of other exhibitors. 10. Exhibitors may not assign, sblet, or apportion the whole or any part of the space allotted to them and may not advertise or display goods or services other than those manfactred or sold by them in the reglar corse of their bsiness. 11. Exhibitor assmes entire responsibility and hereby agrees to protect, indemnify, defend, save, and hold harmless TORCH employees, owners, and agents against all claims, losses, and damages to persons or property, governmental charges or fines and attorney s fees arising ot of the exhibition premises or a part thereof, exclding sch liability cased by the sole negligence of the hotel, its owners, employees, or agent, to inclde the period of storage before and following the meeting. 12. Each exhibiting company/organization is expected to insre itself against liability, property loss, and damage. 13. Shold any sitation beyond the control of TORCH arise to prevent holding the Conference, TORCH will not be held liable for any expenses incrred by the exhibitor except the cost of exhibit space. 14. Occpation of space: Space not occpied by the exhibiting company by 4:30pm on April 26, will be forfeited withot refnd to the exhibitor and the space may be resold or sed by TORCH. 15. 11 Silent AUCTION The TORCH Fondation is prod to annonce the 8th Annal Silent Action to be held at the 2016 TORCH Annal Conference & Trade Show at the Hyatt Regency Dallas Hotel. All proceeds from the Silent Action will go directly to the TORCH Fondation Scholarship Fnd to provide varios scholarship and stipend opportnities for rral health care staff, inclding TLMI Healthcare Fellows, as well as for gradate and ndergradate stdents prsing healthcare-related careers. Every year we contine to bild this fnd and every year we have been able to give ot more scholarships, more stipends and fnd a greater nmber of opportnities. We hope to contine this trend and are excited to celebrate or 8th Annal Silent Action! We are now accepting donations for this event and invite yo to participate.
