2 Since its founding in 1952, Toho Transportation & Warehouse has been constantly updating its logistics system for our customers by leveraging its wealth of experience and expertise accumulated over the years. 5 To make it more efficient to transport small cargoes to widely dispersed remote locations, which is a common practice in the Tohoku region, we first collect them through our network of area freight terminals before delivering them to their final destinations. We also launched the nation s first shared transportation services for six leading construction materials companies in the region as part of our continuing efforts to provide customers with valueadded services that set us apart from the competition. 9 Container Storage and Self Storage Services We rent business and residential customers clean and secure storage spaces in which to store their less frequently used items to keep their offices and houses uncluttered. Container Storage : Containers are a convenient and clean means for the safekeeping of documents, bulky items, and less frequently used items. Self Storage: Customers store smaller items in humiditycontrolled storage lockers rented in a secure facility.

10 International Logistics Services Toho Transportation & Warehouse assists customers in processing paperwork for importing and exporting goods and transporting inbound and outbound containers to and from ports and airports. We handle inbound and outbound goods of any volume from a single carton to container loads. We assist customers in their import and export businesses between Japan and other Asian countries as well as between Japan and Europe and the Americas.
