2 TASECO 02In the years since 1959, the Company has diversified into a wide range of professional transport services. It has earned a reputation as being one of the leading transport companies that meets the exacting criteria of client s needs.currently, the company s main activities are the contracting or leasing of inter-city luxury coaches and urban operation buses of various specifications. Other products include the supply of light vehicles, cranes, and forklifts on contract, as well as the maintenance of a wide range of client s vehicles. The Company also has a facility to fully refurbish passenger and goods vehicles. Buses and Coaches Provision of vehicles of any specification, make or model that meet the requirements of client is a speciality of TASECO. The vehicles range from luxury inter-city coaches to buses for urban stage work and school student transportation. The seating capacity of our coaches and buses varies from 15 to 55, and all the vehicles are fully air-conditioned Our services cover the following: Transport of employees to and from residences to places of employment. Transporting families on shopping trips Transporting of children and students to and from schools and universities by staff who are knowledgeable of their needs. Transporting pilgrims for the annual Hajj from any point in the Eastern or Central Provinces. Transportation to and from neighbouring countries. Transportation of airline personnel between airports and hotels that includes transferring personnel between airports even when it involves leaving the Kingdom. City and inter-city services for special events. TASECO provides services throughout the Kingdom and beyond, and is not restricted to operations within the Eastern, Central or Western Provinces.Our Contracts Department will enter into discussions and negotiations for the provision of services for any period of time whether they be one-off services, daily, weekly or monthly. Contract durations can be for any length of time, from one day to five years, depending on our client,s needs. 2 3

3 4 Bus & Transport Services Although the Company has standard contract terms, there is sufficient flexibility to allow variations to suit our client s requirements, for their specific type of service. Generally, the services provided by the Company are comprehensive. They include highly skilled and fully trained drivers and the provision of extremely well maintained vehicles, so that whatever the eventuality the client is assured of a quality service. These services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week throughout the year and the company s response to any call is instantaneous. Delays are minimized by utilizing the Company s strategically location garages throughout the Kingdom. The Company s bus and coach fleet numbers 550 which are maintained in the Company s ten workshops located in the Eastern, Central, Western Provinces. TASECO,s vehicle maintenance standards have been built around its long established Preventive Maintenance Programs which have produced for the Company an enviable reputation for reliability and safety. The Company s workshops are managed by personnel holding mechanical engineering degrees and its technicians are carefully selected and trained by both the individual vehicle manufacturers, as well as to TASECO,s own stringent standards. SAFETY The Company places safety at the top of its list of priorities and takes particulars pride in its excellent safety record achieved and maintained right from its inception. A separate Safety Department monitors the performance of the Company s vehicles to ensure that safety systems are being adhered to. The monitoring of services, schedules and operations and the seeking of improved safety measures and practices is a daily on-going exercise. Operational Area The Company understands that the role played by its drivers is vital in ensuring its client s complete satisfaction. Accordingly, the Company is highly selective and recruits only a small percentage of those who apply for driving positions. Only experienced bus drivers are engaged and all new driver recruits are given an intense three month period of training in the Company s training school. The driver training program includes theoretical and practical instruction, encompassing formal lectures, video presentations, supervised driving sessions, as well as general safety aspects. Recruits are continually monitored and however much experience they may have, are not passed out from the school until the Training Supervisor is completely satisfied that they are capable of maintaining TASECO,s high standards. The driver training program was updated in 2015 and was redesigned to ensure that the Passenger Carrying Vehicles Guidelines in the UK. TASECO is one of the leading passenger transport companies in the Kingdom operating over 30 million kilometers per year. Contract Vehicle Maintenance The Company is in a position to offer contract vehicle maintenance at its ten modern workshops. In today s competitive market conditions, many companies are opting to concentrate on their core activities. TASECO s maintenance systems are tried and tested and are amongst the best. We rarely have vehicles breakdown, since our Preventive Maintenance System is designed to detect and rectify matters before they become costly problems. When vehicles do inevitably fail, we attend to them quickly and effectively wherever they are and whatever time of the day or night. ( Why not ask our Contracts Manager for a quotation? ) Vehicles Refurbishment Vehicle refurbishment is a specialty of TASECO. This work is carried out at the company s specially adapted refurbishment workshops at Abqaiq. The Company is highly experienced in all aspects of this work, including complete engine and gearbox overhauling, refurbishment of bodies and chassis and all necessary electrical work. Our refurbished vehicles are as good as new, but at only a fraction of the cost. If your business will not sustain the high cost of new vehicles, why not they consider for refurbishment? 4 Maintenance Contract Vehicle Maintenance The Company has many years experience in the provision of a wide variety of light vehicles, including cars, under contract to corporate clients. Vehicles are leased to clients for specified periods, usually one to five years, but agreements can be entered into for any time scale to suit our client s requirements. Under such contracts, TASECO is usually required to provide and fully maintain the vehicles which have been specified by the client and to provide a full backup service that includes replacement vehicles. The service, which is available in the Eastern, Central and Western Provinces can be provided with or without chauffeurs. Our contracts usually provide for monthly payments but these can be aried, to suit individual client s requirements. The backup services provided by the company are comprehensive and the individual parts combine together to provide the first class products that we have so long provided for our clients. They include : Instant access to breakdown/towing vehicles and the availability of a heavyduty «wrecker». Highly experienced and fully trained automobile engineers and craftsmen. Ten fully fitted workshops, each with facilities and staff capable of undertaking a wide range of engineering functions, including all types of maintenance and repairs. A wide range of spare parts and if what is needed is not in stock, our long established relationships with dealers and manufacturers is such, that we will promptly effect delivery of the required parts. The Company s backup service is available round the clock, 24 hours a day, every day throughout the year. GENERAL At TASECO, we operate to very high standards, which we have honed and improved over the last 30 years. Nevertheless, we are not complacent and are constantly on the lookout for improvements that will enable us to offer our clients an even better level of service. TASECO-TMS Limited was established in 1982 as a 70%-30% joint venture between TASECO Transport Company Ltd., of Al Khobar and United Transport International Plc of London with a capital of Sr. 10 million, as a trucking company to primarily cater to theneeds of Saudi Aramco. Thereafter the company has expanded successfully into all regions of the Kingdom, and set up depots in Jeddah, Riyadh, Jubail, Dhahran and Yanbu. In 1992, the partnership with United Transport was dissolved and the Company is now 100% Saudi owned. In 1993, the Company opened its first operation outside the Kingdom in Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai. The operation centers around several dedicated contract hire clients and offers general haulage within the UAE. As part of its strategy for the future, TASECO-TMS has concentrated on providing specialist dedicated contract services to the manufacturing sector. 100% dedicated vehicles, trailers and drivers in the clients own livery, now operate for a growing number of major customers. It currently runs the largest fleet in Saudi Arabia of curtain- sided vehicles and trailers, built to carry both temperature sensitive and high-cube cargoes. Our maintenance programs conform to the recommendations and stipulations of the individual vehicle manufacturers and completely satisfy the quality standards of ISO The maintenance programs are carried out by an experienced orkforce of multinationals, who receive detailed training from the manufacturers of the vehicles we operate. Comprehensive facilities are available at all our terminals to undertake and carry out any type of preventive and corrective maintenance TASECO T.M.S. TASECO-TMS is the most progressive logistics group in the Kingdom. We offer a fully comprehensive service from conceptual project research and development, through the planning stages, vehicle specification and design, body building, to the final operation and co-ordination of a project.our repair and maintenance workshops are fully equipped with modern state-of-the art equipment to undertake major repairs of whatever kind or nature. In order to keep the fleet of vehicles in top shape all the time, it has been decided by TASECO-TMS to carry out a half life restoration program. This program involves the truck or trailer being virtually rebuilt. We hold licenses from two major European equipment manufacturers. One is Southfields Coachworks Ltd., who manufacture trailers and curtainside body equipment. The other is Ray Smith Group Plc., who manufacture tail lifts and demountable vehicle body systems. Under these two license agreements we assemble the product kits in Saudi Arabia conforming to U.K. specifications, utilising both imported and local materials. Since 1993, in line and keeping with our continually increasing customer expectations, TASECO-TMS formulated a quality management system which complies with BSI standards resulting in ISO 9002 accreditation in February, TASECO- TMS is the first logistics and transportation company to be awarded this certification in the Kingdom. 9
