The company s solution was an innovative steel panel design that quickly revolutionized the merchandising industry. In fact, by the 1990 s the company had begun to outgrow its original facility. In 1999 Uniweb relocated to a modern 170,000 square foot facility in Corona, California. 3 What is a Uniweb Panel? 1 Uniweb Overview The panel s unique design offers unlimited display options. You can move merchandise virtually anywhere. Since hooks and shelving install without tilting, they can be repositioned fully merchandised. Additionally, pegged and shelved items can be intermixed on any size module. Add to this Uniweb s durable powder coat finish, all steel high-tech design, easy installation, and affordable price, and you have the world s most efficient shelving system. 5 Pre-fabricated Pharmacy MRX (Modular Pharmacy) is a preengineered and fabricated modular design. It is ideal for virtually any pharmacy space walls, floor, ceiling, drop-off and pick-up counters, pharmacist and technician work stations, etc. The possibilities are limitless. Pharmaceutical MRX installation is simple. An entire pharmacy system takes no more than 2-3 days to assemble -- with almost no disruptions to normal business activity. Pre-wired with UL-Listed Modular Wiring System, the MRX conveniently utilizes in-store power and plumbing. Once the MRX is in place, efficiency immediately improves. For office applications, the system reduces clutter and helps keep important materials close at hand. The increased shelving space of our merchandise displays translates to as much 50% more product storage in the same footprint. 6 Pharmaceutical Merchandising Solutions Pharmaceutical COUNTER WALL For areas where 2 or 3 walls exist, Uniweb s counter wall provides a complete front-end pharmacy section and shelving. Installed in 2-3 days, the system features a UL-Listed Modular Wiring System that conveniently utilizes in-store power and plumbing. Blank conduit and communication boxes allow for easy communication and data transmission. OTC (Over the Counter) provides an upscale look for a store s high-profit section. This system features adjustable shelving that maximizes the holding power of any display. RX 2000 Designed for areas that require shelving, the RX 2000 features a line of easily-adjustable pharmacy fixtures such as wall panels, bays, shelves, and accessories. 7 Why Use Uniweb Rx Systems? Continuous panels with shelving on the back wall and floor spacers between the back and bay decks allow merchandise to be placed behind the pharmacy bays. There is no unused space at the panel joint or behind the bays. With ordinary pharmacy units, the shelf is difficult to adjust because it must span the space between the supports and 4 clips are required to secure it; therefore, it is almost never moved. The entire width, 32 or 48, must accommodate the tallest bottle so there is a lot of wasted panel space. Pharmaceutical A major advantage of the Uniweb Rx 2000 shelf system is that the trays (shelves) are only 16 wide so they are easy to adjust and move. They can be positioned on the panel to accommodate the tallest bottle so there is little or no wasted space. Also, it is not necessary to remove drugs from the tray when repositioning so the pharmacist can easily do it. 9 Uniweb System Offers Most Versatility Since so much is literally hanging on our welded panels, we ve designed them for maximum strength and efficiency. A rugged blend of heavy gauge steel and heavy duty stiffeners welded across the height of each panel create stability unmatched by any other system. To accommodate specific needs, the spacing of the stiffeners can be modified, as can the overall profile of the panel. Wall mount installation is simple thanks to top and bottom retainers. SYSTEM 88 Featuring shelves and panels that can be easily intermixed, the versatile System 88 is the complete merchandising solution. Installation is amazingly simple since each unit consists of only three components a pre-assembled backframe and two installable legs. This is a radical reduction in parts from conventional systems. 11 Retrofit/Variety/ Spot/Insert Panels For merchandisers wishing to expand or enhance existing display fixtures, Uniweb offers several retrofit options. VARIETY PANEL Continuous channels and no upright interruptions, this all-steel merchandiser dramatically increases product facings and profit potential. Installation is as easy as attaching appropriate brackets and inserting them into your existing upright unit. Available in 48 or 36 widths. When ordering, please specify type of bracket needed (i.e. Lozier, Madix, or Hussman). Brackets come in stand-off depths from 2 to 20. Panels from 6 H to 18 H require one pair; 20 H to 56 H require two pair, and 58 H and up require three pair of brackets. SPOT PANEL Built to exact specifications, they easily fit over non-uniweb fixtures. Retail INSERT PANEL Inset snugly into store uprights, permitting the use of existing shelving. ALLIED VARIETY PANEL This alternative to the Variety Panel features short insert hooks welded directly into the panel frame, eliminating the need for insert brackets. Panels easily fit and lock directly into existing uprights. The result is an aesthetically pleasing flush appearance that avoids the retrofit look. You may also extend each panel beyond gondola height, creating additional merchandising space. Return Policy Due to the customized nature of Uniweb product, returns are generally not accepted. Custom Equipment Requirements Uniweb may be designed to meet your special requests and needs. For non-catalog items, drawings are necessary. A set-up and/or special color charge may apply when producing minimum quantities. Patents Many of the products throughout our catalog, including the exclusive Uniweb shape design, are protected by patents/patents pending. Installation Uniweb does provide a complete step by step installation guide, along with photographs as needed, to assist your construction crew. There are many trained construction crews throughout the country that are experienced Uniweb installers. We will be happy to offer you a list. Shipments F.O.B. Corona, California. To provide the best possible service, firm shipping dates will be maintained and back orders will be acknowledged. We use the customer s carrier of choice and ship collect (the carrier bills the customer direct), unless credit has been established and prepaid arrangements have been specified. If the customer does not specify a carrier, we try to chose the best carrier for the load and destination.
