5 Services (Engineering & Support) Kingfield Electronics offers a wide range of services which support our manufacturing capabilities. These can either be used on their own or can be used in combination with other services to form bespoke tailored solutions. Product Design We have wide ranging design skills and can either undertake an entire design activity starting with a concept or design brief, or we can work alongside a customers own design team offering support services such as PCB layout and hardware/software design guidance. Engineering Support Services We can offer a range of engineering services such as Design For Manufacture (DFM), process FMEA (Failure Mode Effect Analysis), value stream mapping and process optimisation. This area also encompasses document control and product information management and data archiving. Rapid Prototyping We can offer a variety of quick turnaround assembly activities coupled with comprehensive NPI processes offering extensive feedback from the initial manufacturing activity. Procurement & Supply Chain Management Kingfield Electronics continues to develop a strong supply chain combining the best of both on-shore and off-shore vendors. 6 Services (Manufacturing) Kingfield Electronics offers a range of manufacturing services encompassing both in-house and off-shore manufacturing capabilities. These can be utilised individually or combined to provide total product manufacturing solutions. PCB Assembly We offer a full range of surface mount, mixed-technology, and through-hole PCB assembly capabilities, including both leaded and RoHS compliant product. Our in-house teams of highly skilled assembly operators are trained to aerospace standards, and volume manufacturing is available via our off-shore supply chain. Box Build Assembly Box build is considered to be our core competence. The vast majority of our output is complete finished product, and this brings with it the need for a wide range of supporting skill sets. We have extensive experience in this area, and have the capabilities to produce a wide variety of products from delicate scientific instrumentation, to the most rugged box and panel assembly suited to the harshest of military applications. Off-Shore Manufacturing The need to compete and remain competitive in a global marketplace is a key requirement for all of our customers. To that end we have an extensive global supply chain capable of supplying key commodities using a highly effective pricing model. In addition to this we have strategic partners capable of supplying supporting contract manufacturing services which supplement our own service offerings.
