Our strategy is to continually renew our fleet and by the end of 2009 a total of six newbuildings, high-speed, multi-purpose Container Ro-Ro vessels (Con-Ro) have entered our services. This will further strengthen our position as a leading European Ro-Ro operator and will enhance our service both to present and new customers. 3 Professional Cargo handling We take care of your valuable cargo Our vessels are very versatile and can, apart from trailers, carry practically any general cargo including Sto-Ro, containers, rolltrailers, mobile cargoes and project cargoes, as well as IMDG-classified goods and temperature-controlled units. We have limited space to accommodate truck drivers. Unaccompanied trailers trailer horse > All standard trailers carried between Zeebrugge and Bilbao rest on trailer horses and are lashed with minimum 8 lashings. 6 Connection between Transfennica s Northern and Southern routes Transfennica s market is divided into the Baltic Service, a northbound trade between Finland, Russia, Estonia, Poland and Belgium and the Iberia Service, a southbound trade between Belgium and Spain. The Baltic and Iberia services come together in Belgium and we can arrange the shunt of your cargoes like containers, static lift and project cargoes between Zeebrugge (southern route) and Antwerp (northern route). 7 Heavy or oversized cargoes Transfennica s Iberia Service offers you the possibility, besides shipping your trailers and containers, to handle your oversized and heavy cargoes on our service Zeebrugge Bilbao vv. On our 3 sailings per week, we can accommodate a large range of high, heavy and oversized cargoes, including machinery and static lift cargo on own mafi/roll trailers. We are offering gate/gate terms for all static lift cargo meaning that all terminal handling costs are included in the freight rate.
