HARDIGG CASES SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST From the scorching heat of the Sahara Desert to the bone-numbing cold of the Arctic tundra, Hardigg s cases are built to survive the harshest environments on Earth. But that s only half the battle. Mere survival is not enough: a case has to protect the equipment inside no matter how rough the ride or challenging the conditions. For over half a century, Hardigg s transport systems have been ensuring that even the most sensitive equipment arrives on site in one piece, ready to perform. Today, everyone from scientists and photographers to major military, defense, and aerospace contractors trusts their critical gear to Hardigg cases for one reason: nothing protects better. From digital cameras to aircraft engines, if your equipment requires exceptional protection against mechanical shock, vibration, and extreme temperature changes or needs complex foam cushioning or other custom features Hardigg has a transport solution for you.

Equipment that is particularly sensitive to shock or vibration or that has uniquely shaped components may have special packing requirements to ensure secure transport. All Hardigg cases can be shipped with foam lining, multilayer polyurethane or solid polyethylene foam, or custom-cut polyethylene foam. Antistatic foam is also available.

HARDIGG CASES PROTECTION IN ALL SHAPES & SIZES Whether you re moving a laptop computer, a delicate piece of medical equipment, or an aircraft wing, Hardigg cases provide the ultimate protection. Constructed of high-performance resin, they re lightweight, impervious to dust and water, and virtually indestructible. Every element on every model from the retractable handle and rolling casters of a Grab N Roll case to our deck and flange mount systems to our custom cushioning delivers maximum strength and reliability under even the most adverse conditions. With more than 400 available sizes, there is a case and cushioning system for any application and if one of our off-the-shelf containers isn t perfect for your needs, we ll create a custom solution for you.

11 1 Hardigg cases are tested beyond the limits of ordinary shipping containers. Our state-of-the-art facility includes a walk-in environment chamber for extreme temperature testing, a computerized vibration table, and computerized drop test equipment. This onsite test lab helps our technicians ensure that the container system we build for you meets your exact specifications. Many of our cases have been certified under various MIL- SPEC testing procedures, including fungus resistance, 48-inch free fall drop, salt, fog, cargo bounce, submersion, temperature and humidity, vibration limits, and low pressure (altitude). The specifications below are among the most popular used for manufacturing and evaluating reusable containers. 7 3 MIL-SPEC Available MIL-STD-2073 MIL-STD-648 MIL-HDBK-304 MIL-C-4150J MIL-T MIL-PRF MIL-HDBK-454 MIL-STD-810 MIL-STD-3010 MIL-STD-130 MIL-STD-1472 MIL-I ASTM D 4169 ASTM D 3951 SAE-ARP

HARDIGG CASES CUSTOM DESIGN IS STANDARDPRACTICE Though Hardigg offers the greatest number of standard case sizes in the industry, unique needs often require custom case sizes or configurations. For over a half a century, our engineers have been putting creative design, cutting-edge technology, and years of experience to work in handling the most difficult and demanding packaging issues. If you have a packaging design challenge, we ll create a solution. CUSTOM CUSHIONING SYSTEMS Polyurethane. Polyethylene. Anti-static. Foam-filled. Foamlined. Custom foam. Whether your needs call for a single specialty cushion or several thousand, Hardigg s engineers will work with you to determine the most effective design and best combination of materials for your specific application. Our network of design and manufacturing centers across the US, Canada, and Europe uses leadingedge technology-like our die cutting and water jet foam cutting systems-to shape cushioning material to your exact specifications and requirements.

DECK CASES AND CRADLE SUSPENSION SYSTEMS Transporting a $100,000 auxillary power unit from coast to coast safely is no easy task. Our deck and cradle suspension systems are custom designed to protect sensitive and delicate equipment from the perils of transport including shocks, jostling, vibration, drops, dust, and climate extremes ensuring that it arrives at its destination unharmed. FLANGEMOUNT CASES FlangeMount carrying cases are designed specifically to protect panel-mounted equipment. They feature a molded-in support shelf and threaded inserts (1/4-20, UNC-2B, THD) to allow for easy panel fastening. Other available options include an aluminum mounting panel and a hinged aluminum panel in the case lid.

HARDIGG CASES BRAWN, BEAUTY, AND BRAINS To be of any value, a transport case needs more than good looks it needs the strength to take whatever the world dishes out and still provide uncompromised protection. Your gear is critical to your business, and it has to work no matter the circumstances. If it doesn t arrive on location in one piece and ready to go, it may as well not get there at all. For more than 50 years, Hardigg Cases has been designing transport systems to protect sensitive equipment under the most severe conditions imaginable. When it comes to safeguarding your gear from the effects of impact, extreme temperature, water, shock and vibration even exposure to chemicals and decontamination solutions nothing outperforms a Hardigg case. And with our combination of the widest range of standard case sizes and configurations in the industry, and our ability to customize a solution on demand, there s nothing we can t protect.
