3 Hire Our general scissor lift or boom lift hire can be sourced throughout the Midlands so should you require an Access platform on hire please give us a call. We also can offer specialist machines for hard to reach areas. i.e working on slopes or low ground pressure requirements. Many more machines are also available LOLER Inspections There are certain regulations that govern the Access Platform industry. One of these regulations states that all mobile elevated work platforms must be thoroughly inspected on a 6 monthly period in accordance to Loler 9c. (Lifting operations and lifting equipment regulations) All our engineers are CAP Certified by IPAF We also offer Contract Hire, allowing the hirer to have a machine on a long term contract at a reduced rate over a certain contract period. Access Service and Repairs can carry out thorough examinations on site for you ensuring your Access Platform is safe and also within current legislation. On completion, we issue you with an engineers report and a certificate for the machine. For every customer that undertakes one of our agreements we have a customer awareness system the alerts you that your Access Platform is out of its 6 monthly inspection date, ensuring you are aware at all times to your machines examination status. Training Falling from height is one of the largest causes of serious injury or death on construction sites today. Working at height regulations dictate that all employees working from an Access platform must be properly trained to do so. Over 80,000 people were licensed last year alone. At Access Service and Repairs we can provide on site training to IPAF standards on your own work platform equipment. Training can be done for the following categories Static vertical (personnel lift) Static boom (trailer mounted) Mobile vertical (scissor lifts) Mobile boom ( self propelled booms) Specialist machines (track or crawler machines) Up to 6 people at any one course can be taken. Once you successfully complete the training course you will be issued with a powered access licence or a PAL card. Allowing you to use a work platform on any major construction site or building.

4 Service & Maintenance Access Platforms are robust machines due to the nature of their working environment but are not indestructible. Access Service and Repairs offer service and maintenance agreements and breakdown cover should you need it. All our engineers are CAP certified by IPAF and are able to carry out thorough examinations to conform to LOLER regulations. Our experienced and highly trained team of mobile engineers allow us to offer coverage throughout the UK. Our service vans hold a wide range of parts, but in the unfortunate event they do not have the specified part we have over 300 parts suppliers enabling us to get you back up and running over night, minimising the cost of working downtime. We also offer a service maintenance agreement that can be tailored to your machines specific needs. This normally comprises of 2 Loler inspections and one service per annum. This depending on specific working conditions. Service & Maintenance Agreements Service and maintenance agreements are commonly known as SMA S. Access Service and Repairs offers its customers an SMA agreement to give our customers piece of mind regarding current loler legislation.. A service and maintenance agreement, is an agreement by where a contract is put together were we organise an engineer to come in and carry out most commonly 1 services and loler examination at set dates per year. You have the option of tailoring this to your requirements if you so wish.
