1 APC Corrosion & Thickness Monitoring Solution with A 3 M spoton U Permanently-installed real-time internal corrosion and erosion monitoring solution designed to operate in most environments and locations. Provides real-time information about pipe wall thickness and temperature to identify corrosion trends in real time while reducing the need for intrusive tools and periodic inspection. A fundamental tool to obtain and monitor the reference thickness value that many other monitoring tools rely upon. Corrosion engineers can utilize this information to quickly establish the efficiency of inhibitors or the effect of temperature on the corrosivity of the products flowing inside pipes. A fully-submersible, IP69K version of spoton U has been specifically designed for offshore utilisation. spoton U can interface with on-deck and onshore facilities via local wired or wireless network, giving real-time updates on the status of the pipes. spoton U can also be provided with dedicated satellite data links. Above Ground spoton U provides real-time information about pipe wall thickness and temperature to identify corrosion trends in real time while reducing the need for intrusive tools and periodic inspection. Data is sent in real-time to the shield- Cube portal or to your dedicated server utilising encrypted GSM, WiFi or satellite links. Alternatively, data can be stored on the instrument and manually collected. Below Ground The integrity of buried pipelines is typically surveyed utilising in-line inspection (ILI). This technique is very effective at identifying threats. 5 APC Leak and Crack Monitoring Solution with A 3 M spoton AE A fast, accurate and reliable Acoustic Emission monitoring system that can identify both onset and existing leaks in a pipeline, as well as cracks and third party interference. Acoustic Emission (AE) is the most flexible NDT method. Normally used for screening of large structures. AE can be used for monitoring the acoustic activity generated by hitting the pipe, crack growth, product leaks and corrosion. spoton AE is an immediate extension of the spoton U system. Using the same very simple and efficient design, easy installation and durability of the tool is ensured. Hybrid Solution for Best Performances spoton AE Acoustic Emission (AE) is the most flexible NDT method. Normally used for screening of large structures, A 3 Monitoring utilizes AE for monitoring of structures.
