1 School Year Transportation Please return your transportation form to school NO LATER than Monday, March 14 TH. If you do not need transportation, please put your name on the form and mark no transportation needed. The forms have to be sent to the districts by April 1 st. (If you have misplaced your transportation form, please send a note to the office for one to be sent home.) If you need transportation for next school year and you do not have your form into the district by April 1 st, you may not be guaranteed transportation. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

3 St. Patrick s Day Parade All welcome! Please join us Sunday, March 12 th 12:30 p.m. At Kingston Plaza A parent or guardian must accompany all students. ***Please no pets are allowed to march in the parade with KCS*** Please indicate if you are planning on Marching with KCS and return this form by March 9 th : Family name: # of persons: Students marching with the KCS float will be awarded ONE dress down day on Monday, March 13 th (This does not apply to students in the parade with other floats. Students participating in the shamrock run who join the KCS float after the race are also welcome to dress down.) Students marching with the KCS float are asked to dress warmly with St. Patrick s Day and school spirit in mind. For everyone s safety, students riding on the float may not get off the float once the parade has begun, nor will students be allowed to board the float in route. Marchers must remain behind the vehicle at all times. The City of Kingston and parade officials prohibit throwing candy during the parade. Please join us to make this parade the best ever! 4 Go GREEN for Sparrow s Nest! Thursday, March 16, 2017 Kingston Catholic School will be participating in a dress down day for Sparrow s Nest! For a $1.00 donation, students may wear sneakers and jeans with their GREEN or St. Patrick s Day finery in support of Sparrow s Nest - a Hudson Valley Not-for-Profit Charity. Sparrow s Nest is a 501(c)3 charity. Our mission is founded by love and community, cooking and delivering meals to the families of moms with cancer in areas of the Hudson Valley. Sparrow's Nest provides two homemade trays of food to our recipients each week. Did you know the average meal takes 4 hours to prepare: planning the menu, a trip to the grocery store, prepping the food and cooking the dish? Our primary goal is to give a mom some of those precious hours back so she can concentrate on getting better. We are currently serving families in Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, and Ulster Counties.
