Since REWE Austria does not require all EAOM data elements for its incoming DESADV messages, all optional EAOM data elements, which are not required by REWE AT, have been omitted. This DESADV message serves both direct store delivery, and warehouse delivery announcements. Differences, which derive from that fact, will be explained further down this document. This segment is used to envelope the interchange, as well as to identify both, the party to whom the interchange is sent and the party who has sent the interchange. The principle of the UB segment (together with the UZ segment) is the same as a physical envelope which covers one or more letters or documents, and which details, both the address where delivery is to take place and the address from where the envelope has come. In general the despatch unit (DE6063 = 12) is also the ordering unit of REWE International. - Indication of the despatch quantity in the invoicing unit of REWE Austria (DE6063 = 12); Mandatory for any delivery - Additional indication of the delivered sales units (DE6063 = 59). This is important to count back between the order units and the sales units; Mandatory Examples: 1.
