7 MINI-120 HEADER / CAPPER Technical Data Production speed: Tube dimension: Tube length: 120 tubes/min. 12.7mm to 22mm 40mm to max. 140mm PRODUCTION SPEED UP TO 120 TPM The Mini 120 header and integrated capper makes production of small cosmetic tubes simple, compact and very cost effective. The Mini 120 Header/Capper, which is uniquely and specifically designed for small tube diameters from 12.7mm to 22mm, will free capacity on other lines which are capable of making larger diameter tubes with higher selling prices. This integrated line allows plastic tube producers to reduce lead time for the delivery of small tubes as well as dramatically reducing the production costs. This header/capper can be integrated with any suitable extruder, and offers the following functions and options: >> Heading >> Top seal application (option) >> Capping >> Tube packing (otpional) The extremely compact design not only saves floor space, it enhances ergonomics. The operator interface is centrally placed from where all process steps can be supervised. An integrated state of the art capping process makes the machine layout very compact. 8 LTR NEW INVISEAM TECHNOLOGY the first cosmetic laminate tube The LTR side seamer is the latest innovation for the production of cosmetic side-seamed tubes. Our patented Inviseam technology renders the seam almost invisible, allowing the manufacture of high quality laminate tubes for the cosmetic industry, a new market trend enhanced by the LTR. The rotary cutter, as well as the optional Roundness Retaining Unit (RRU) are items which reduce significantly ovality and pinch marks which are usually observed on side-seamers running at high speed. The LTR has been designed to enable side seaming to be undertaken at speeds exceeding 36 meters/minute. Sophisticated guidance, conveying and tension control enables continuous side seaming with high accuracy and minimal waste. The LTR offers high flexibility, using the same tooling for ABL and PBL of various structures and thicknesses. 12 HPS The HPS system has 10 stations, each with a single mandrel for the production of up to 60 tubes per minute. Using resin material in granulate form, the HPS heading system moulds the shoulder and fuses it simultaneously to the tube body. The modular system provides easy access for fast and simple tube diameter, orifice and thread changes. 13 HPL / HPX Experience shows that retooling for a new order can take hours of valuable production time. But no more: our HPL and HPX headers reduce changeover time to as low as ten minutes and the changeover does not require any hand tools. A unique feature of these machines is that after changing size parts, no operation adjustments of the settings are required. The 90 tpm HPL can be upgraded to the 150 tpm HPX when you need it simply by adding more tooling. 14 TCA-12 The TCA 12 has a long range of optional application capabilities. The equipment can be used for the complete range of collapsible tubes including aluminium, seamless extruded plastic and side-seamed laminated tubes. A key advantage of the TCA 12 are the features for fast changeover size parts (no hand tool required) maximum flexibility, allowing either off-line or integrated (in-line) production.
