1 22-Ton Punch/Fiber Laser Combination Machine LC 2515 C1 AJ

2 The Next Evolution in Punch/Laser Combination Technology The LC 2515 C1 AJ provides sheet metal fabricators maximum production flexibility by integrating Amada's innovative Multi-Purpose Turret (MPT) design and proven fiber laser technology. This combination of technologies allows users to perform multiple processes on a single machine. Processes such as tapping, forming, and laser cutting can all be programmed within a single machine program to maximize part accuracy and machine productivity. Easily process copper, brass, and titanium with fiber laser cutting technology Multi-Purpose Turret (MPT) accurately performs tapping and forming operations Floating brush table design facilitates down-forming operations and ensures scratch-free part processing Rigid bridge frame ensures high-precision parts and maximizes tooling life Automation ready 2kW fiber laser Four integrated tapping stations Reduce Secondary Operations & Achieve Process Range Expansion The 49-station Multi-Purpose Turret (MPT) integrates key processes that are typically performed as secondary operations. Four tapping stations (inch and metric taps) and three die lift stations allow the LC C1 AJ to process special part features quickly and precisely. The die lift stations automatically lift forming dies to achieve high-quality up-forms. A floating brush table around the turret area lifts the sheet to prevent down forms from hitting forming dies during sheet movement and ensures scratch-free part processing. Amada's fiber laser cutting technology achieves faster cutting speeds compared to a CO2 laser. Additionally, a fiber laser gives users the ability to process difficult-to-cut materials such as copper, brass, and titanium. 3 Proven Fiber laser Cutting Technology Amada's Fiber Laser Module In addition to providing faster cutting speeds and a wider range of cutting capabilities compared to a CO2 laser, Amada's fiber laser resonators offer lower maintenance and operating costs. A fiber laser resonator does not require a laser gas mix or mirrors to generate the laser beam. Laser diodes within a fiber laser module are excited to generate the beam that is delivered directly to the laser cutting head via a single fiber cable. The elimination of internal components within the resonator, including nine internal mirrors, results in an efficient and reliable laser beam that provides high edge quality and fast cutting speeds. AC Servo Drive System Within the rigid bridge frame of the LC C1 AJ, the drive system consists of a single AC servo motor with a heavy duty precision air-cooled ball screw and link assembly. This drive system delivers up to 370 HPM on 1" centers and also provides high-speed marking at up to 900 HPM. The drive mechanism is designed with hundreds of fewer components than a hydraulic system resulting in greater reliability/uptime and reduced maintenance costs. 4 Work Chute A 15.75" x 60" work chute allows small parts without microjoints to be dropped into a bin or conveyor belt. The work chute can also be used to remove large pieces of scrap during laser cutting. Nozzle Cleaner Debris caused by spatter and dust is automatically removed from the nozzle to prevent processing defects and provide long-lasting performance. Slug Removal System Available on all stations Powerful vacuum draws slugs through the die Punch penetration can be reduced to 0.039" resulting in faster speeds and reduced tool wear Large Brush Table Process 5' x 10' sheet (max. sheet size due to table safety cabin) Brush table design ensures scratch-free processing Supports up to 0.25" material (110 lbs. 330 lbs. depending on table speed) Reduces noise level AMNC/PC PC Control and Network Capabilities Amada s AMNC/PC control with touchscreen offers many productivity-enhancing features and benefits. Job scheduler Optimized laser cutting conditions Network-ready Machine maintenance tracker notification of machine alerts and jobs in progress Accurate Machine Setups By simply opening an NC program on the AMNC control, paperless machine setup information is immediately available to the operator. Material type, clamp setup, tool information and more is displayed on the control for the operator to view. A graphic turret layout allows operators to see which tools need to be installed to process the current NC program. G-Code Editor/Simulator Another powerful feature is the G-code editor and simulator. Features in the editor make it easy to review, edit, and simulate a program. The simulator graphically plots the G-code tool patterns, provides zoom and pan functions, and highlights the associated G-code when a graphic pattern is selected on the touchscreen display.

5 Automation Maximize Machine Productivity A redesigned TK Unit has two independently moving arms for enhanced versatility when unloading and stacking parts. Amada offers a variety of automation options for the LC C1 AJ that can be customized to fit your specific operational needs. Each configuration is designed to maximize machine productivity by consistently loading raw material and unloading processed parts without operator intervention. Multiple-shelf towers are programmed to store a variety of material types to ensure long, continuous machine runtime with the capability of lights-out production. Raw material can be loaded into the tower while the machine is processing. With the towers located behind the LC C1 AJ, the front of the machine is easily accessible to introduce rush jobs. Part unloading and sorting is accomplished with a redesigned TK Unit. This unit consists of two independent arms with suction cups that load raw material efficiently and unload processed parts. Processed parts are neatly stacked on user-specified shelves of the storage tower. Unloading and part-sorting sequences can be programmed offline using Amada's software. Automation Benefits: Customized tower and shelf configurations Consistent machine runtimes from material loading to part unloading Multiple-shelf towers store a variety of material types and thicknesses Lights-out production Front access to the machine allows rush jobs to be introduced seamlessly TK Unit automatically loads raw material and unloads/sorts processed parts Sorted parts can be removed from the tower while the machine is processing LC C1 AJ with AS 3015N TK + ULS 3015N TK
