CONSIGNMENT DEADLINES Grupage cnsignments must arrive at ur advanced warehuse by 9 th February days befre build-up. Full Truck cnsignments must arrive at the venue n the day unlading is required. 5 Guidelines Curier Shipments Any shipments that are sent shuld be n a delivery duty paid (DDP) basis i.e custms cleared and all charges including taxes and duties billed t the shipper. Please cnsign all yur curier shipments t the advance warehuse address. WES Lgistics can nt be held respnsible fr any cnsignments addressed directly t yur stand. Please nte that shipments sent thrugh curier cmpanies will nt be placed under ur Custms Guarantee. Exhibitrs are advised nt t send high value gds this way. DEADLINES Curier shipments must arrive at the advance warehuse by 9 th February wrking days prir t build up. After this date curier shipments can be received at the venue at the start f the fficial buildup perid f the shw and yu MUST have a stand representative present t receive the gds. We wuld nt advise curier shipments t be delivered directly t the venue as Curier Cmpany s wrk n a 9am-5pm delivery schedule and cannt guarantee a delivery time.

6 Dcumentatin In rder t assist yu in the preparatin f dcuments, we have supplied yu with a Cmbined Cmmercial Invice and Packing List, fr yur use, please refer t page 8. Explanatry ntes n the cmpletin f the Cmbined Cmmercial Invice and Packing List frm are as fllws: All entries in these frms must be in English A FULL descriptin f the item must be given. D nt just indicate the mdel name r mdel number. Describe the item. Fr all items please include the HS N. / Tariff Cde IMPORTANT Every individual item, including giveaway items and brchures, is t be given a value based n CIF rad/sea/airprt arrival value. Failure t cmply may result in the value indicated being taken by Custms as the FOB value, and the freight amunt shwing n an AWB etc as the freight amunt. This will result in higher Duty & GST being applicable, r a higher temprary imprt fee. This is a custms requirement and is nt within ur cntrl. The fllwing declaratin must be indicated: The inviced gds are f (cuntry) rigin and are intended fr display purpses nly Breakbulk Africa Exhibitrs are t indicate the items that will be re-exprted as well as the items that will be dispsed f, cnsumed r given away at the end f the exhibitin. T assist, the fllwing explanatins are ffered: COMMERCIAL INVOICE This must shw FULL descriptins f gds, including unit price and ttal prices. A separate invice shuld be issued fr giveaways, samples, brchures etc. Restrictins apply n quantities f giveaway items allwed which shuld be apprpriate t the duratin and attendance f the exhibitin. PACKING LIST Must be prvided and shw: Package number (it must match the case / markings previusly mentined) Full descriptin f cntents Grss weight / Net weight / Dimensins A cpy f the packing list shuld be firmly attached t the case beneath the case mark. Custms may examine the gds n imprtatin, s it is essential that a detailed packing list is prvided t avid delays in clearance. Althugh nt essential, t facilitate custms clearance, items such as giveaways, brchures, etc, shuld be inviced and packed separately. When carg is shipped as an LCL/FCL cntainer, a cntainer packing list/manifest is required. INSURANCE It is recmmended that all exhibitrs shuld arrange a cmprehensive cver fr their gds which cvers shipment t, the perid f display and which allws either return t the cuntry f rigin r an apprpriate dispsal perid at the cnclusin f the exhibitin.

7 Dcumentatin CUSTOMS FORMATLITIES/EXAMINATION There are 3 means f imprting gds int. They are as fllws: ATA Carnet Entry fr gds under ATA Carnet allws free mvement f the gds within the EU, after the exhibitin, fr a perid f up t 12 mnths r until the expiry f the Carnet, whichever ccurs first, befre which the gds must be re-exprted (under Custms supervisin). Temprary Imprt Gds may be temprarily imprted under WES Lgistics Temprary Imprt Bnd facility subject t a nn-refundable bnd fee. Please be advised that all gds entered under ur security bnd, remain under ur cntrl and, at the end f the shw, shuld either be re-exprted, r subsequently permanently imprted, by WES Lgistics. Permanent Imprt This is fr gds entered fr hme cnsumptin i.e. t remain in, where imprt duty and VAT will apply. Yu can cntact us fr Duty and VAT % rates. Please Nte: Gds that are given away may nt be exempt frm VAT and duty. VAT and duty may still be payable. WOODEN PACKING MATERIALS All wden packing materials entering ne f s prts will need t cnfrm with the internatinal phyt-sanitary standard ISPM-15. In shrt, this means: Only wd, free f bark, crrectly treated and shwing IPPC Stamp will be accepted. Payment f Charges TARIFF Cmprehensive qutatins will be supplied upn receipt f cnsignment details where requested r a cpy f ur tariff f charges can be sent by . PAYMENT Unless freight is ruted via ur appinted agent r yu have an accunt with us, we will require immediate payment f all charges immediately upn receipt f ur invice Bank details are specified at the bttm f the invice.
