4 TRANSPORT AND HANDLING OF HEAVY-LIFT CARGOES One of OCTRA s main services, in which we have achieved a very high degree of specialization with the support of our sister company COORDINADORA, is the transport and handling of heavy and/or large cargoes. Over thirty years of existence, the experience and knowledge accumulated in the organization and management of the transport of heavy and large cargoes (heavy-lift) has led us to be one of the best qualified companies in this activity in the international market. In the last decade we have transported a great deal of equipment with individual weights from 600 to 1500 tons Based on this extensive experience, we have developed an organization, working techniques and procedures that always seek maximum safety and reliability during the performance of the operation, and which we provide to our customers as part of the transport solutions they need anywhere in the world.

5 GLOBAL PROJECT LOGISTICS The magnitude of a project varies greatly from one customer to another, but in all cases the situation is the same: each project is of great importance to our client and this is how we treat it. Our organization, personnel and working methods are optimized to address the implementation of a project as a unique, independent job with a limited period of execution, whose main characteristics are unique to this project and will never be the same as other previous or subsequent projects. The application of this philosophy means that when we are awarded a project it is our organization that adapts to this project and the customer, and not vice versa. Most projects involve logistical coordination of very different cargo consignments, from very diverse origins to a single delivery point. All these dynamics must be coordinated with precision, safety, and by continually adapting ourselves to the changing needs of our customers. Ongoing, timely and accurate information is essential. To perform this task we have highly qualified personnel who follow a rigorous internal training programme, a global network of agents who we have selected over the years based on strict criteria of quality and reliability, we are members of the Specialized Carriers and Rigging Association and we have our exclusive management software, developed in-house, and optimized for managing projects. To this, we must add our extensive experience in Heavy-Lift Transport and our concept of "transport engineering" that we apply to major transport projects.

6 TRANSPORT ENGINEERING As a unique feature of our company, OCTRA has its own engineering department. Its main function is to plan and control the transport of heavy cargoes. Its aim is to maintain, always and under all circumstances, a very high level of safety in the operations we perform. But our engineering concept goes further. We use the term "transport engineering" to describe the process that we employ in each special transport operation. This process begins with the preparation of a specific transport plan for every shipment, through which we analyze, evaluate, calculate and optimize the most appropriate solution for each scenario. Throughout their implementation, the plan is continuously updated and all the technical information is reviewed over and over again, with special emphasis on issues such as ship stability, lashing, ground strength and support surfaces on vehicles and vessels, crane capabilities, lifting methods, and so on. The process is complemented by the direct personal supervision of loading and transfer operations to be carried out during the transport to ensure that our transport plan and calculations made are accurately followed throughout the process. In this way we can verify the transport feasibility of a critical component, calculate and propose design changes, analyze and study the most appropriate route, evaluate alternative forms of transport, check the strength of transport means and surfaces, identify the most suitable loading/unloading and/or handling places, make stability calculations, monitor and approve lashing calculations of third parties, and so on.
