Does your company have documented policies and procedures for evaluating and procuring packaging using the SPGs or equivalent? 9. With one packaging line no longer used by Three Threes, our main jarred products now represent 95% of the overall packaging type that we supply to the market. This already has been reviewed under the Sustainable Packaging Guidelines (SPG) in the past two years. Our main packaging suppliers are APC signatories and we expect to have their full co-operation in the review of our products under the Sustainable Packaging Guidelines. Implement adequate audit procedures and tools to record the results of the SPG reviews. Three Threes enters all our SPG audit review information for our main packaging form into a secure online environment. This information will be appraised periodically to ensure we receive responses to all correspondence we send out, and any information from suppliers is included in the product s SPG audit files. 13. Describe any constraints or opportunities that affected performance under this KPI As the suppliers of our two main forms of packaging, glass and cardboard, are members of the APC, we are confident that their design and production will have the APC requirements to the fore. This is despite us being the recipient of a mass produced glass jar designed and developed to the packaging specifications set down by our manufacturer/supplier. In cases where Three Threes uses proprietary designs for particular brands of products, the glass specifications used to produce these glass jars are the same, or similar, to the mass produced glass jars we receive from our supplier as noted above.

Goal 2: Recycling KPI 3: % signatories applying on-site recovery systems for used packaging. 14. Do you have on-site recovery systems for recycling used packaging? at all facilities/ sites at some, but not all facilities/ sites 15. Please indicate your progress this year towards achieving your annual targets and milestones for KPI 3 3. Document recycling information for onsite packaging waste. Document recycling information for office waste recycling. Reuse of glass jar pallets in a closed loop system. Three Threes continues to recycle glass, cardboard cartons, plastic shrink wrap and compostable materials with our four recycling and waste contractors, one of which has a quality management system in place and has a stated environmental approach to its business operations. At its office, Three Threes shreds all its paper which is placed in the overall recycling infrastructure for the manufacturing plant. Office ink cartridges are recycled separately. In a closed loop system approach, the pallets used to deliver the glass jars to Three Threes are picked up every fortnight and returned to the glass manufacturer for reuse. 16. Describe any constraints or opportunities that affected performance under this KPI From a commercial perspective, Three Threes continues to maximise the materials that can be recycled from the waste arising on our premises, which also provides an additional environmental benefit.

KPI 4: Signatories implement formal policy of buying packaging made from recycled products. 17. Does your company have a formal policy of buying packaging made from recycled packaging? Provide details of policies and procedures (including names of policies/ procedures) As a company that deals with foodstuffs it must follow HACCP. Our HACCP manual contains information around actions that can be taken when considering the purchase of packaging with recycled content. 18. Is this policy actively used? 19. Please indicate your progress this year towards achieving your annual targets and milestones for KPI 4 Document information on Buy Recycled quantities. Three Threes has now carried out the SPG reviews of the major source of the packaging we purchase for application to our products. Our major glass supplier, a signatory to the APC, has provided us with information that the average postconsumer recycled glass content of the glass jar is 45%. Our major cardboard carton supplier, also an APC signatory, has certified that the make up of the carton that it supplies to us has 100% recycled content fibre. All information sourced from suppliers will be held in our SPG audit files for review. Examine the possibility of introducing a Buy Recycled Policy. As part of our HACCP policies and procedures, there is information about buying products that contain recycled content. As a matter of course we do purchase a high percentage of recycled packaging due to the nature of our product, i.e. glass jars in shelf ready packaging. 20. Describe any constraints or opportunities that affected performance under this KPI Our two major packaging suppliers, both signatories to the APC, have furnished us with the recycled content of the packaging we purchase from them. We also follow the instructions given to us in our HACCP manual in respect to what we can do to purchase products with recycled content.

Goal 3: Product Stewardship KPI 6: % signatories with formal processes to work collaboratively on packaging design and / or recycling. 2 Does your company have formal processes in place for collaborating with other companies or organisations on improved packaging designs and/or recycling which aims to reduce or eliminate waste? Provide details of policies and procedures (including names of policies/ procedures) Three Threes works closely with its two main packaging suppliers, which are members of the APC, to ensure that we continue to receive cost effective packaging that meets our requirements. 2 Please indicate your progress this year towards achieving your annual targets and milestones for KPI 6 Contact our main packaging suppliers to determine if they can participate in the Sustainable Packaging Guidelines audit process we are applying against our key packaging products. Collaboration with packaging suppliers on returns and recycling. Three Threes has contacted its main packaging manufacturers and received information in relation to the glass and cardboard packaging that we purchase from them. Three Threes collaborates with our main glass supplier to ensure that all pallets are regularly returned (on average fortnightly) in a closed loop system. Due to the food manufacturing nature of our business we also collaborate with all our recycling contractors to ensure packaging materials, food waste and water sludge are removed from the premises in a timely manner as required. 23. Describe any constraints or opportunities that affected performance under this KPI Our major glass manufacturer is supplying us with glass that has average recycled content of 45%, noting that it has a global target to achieve 60% post-consumer recycled glass content by In what makes good business sense, Three Threes works closely with our four recycling and waste contractors to ensure that the maximum amount of materials are recycled, therefore not going to landfill, and removed from our premises in a timely and efficient manner. KPI 7: % signatories showing other Product Stewardship outcomes. 24. Please indicate your progress this year towards achieving your annual targets and milestones for KPI 7 Implement questionnaires into purchasing policies. Three Threes has close working relationships with our major glass and cardboard packaging suppliers resulting in significant recycled content in both forms of packaging. Donation of excess products to foodbanks and charities When a particular food product is no longer required by the customer we are producing the product for, but this product is still in date, we donate these products to relevant charities.

25. Since the beginning of the reporting period, has your company had any other outcomes related to product stewardship? If yes, please give examples of other product stewardship outcomes Three Threes maintains its relationship with our Australian manufacturer of glass jars that allows us to implement a closed loop system for the re-use of wooden pallets which the supplier uses to deliver the glass jars initially. 26. Describe any constraints or opportunities that affected performance under this KPI Three Threes seeks to collaborate with our two main packaging suppliers to maintain the level of recycled content in this packaging. However, our major glass supplier is aiming to achieve 60% post-consumer recycled glass content by 2017, up from the current average 45%. In managing product lines that may suddenly become redundant at the request of the customer, we will work with relevant charities to ensure that this product is made available to these charities for onward distribution, so long as the product is still in date. As well, one of the transport providers has a stated environmental policy for its operations, which ensures that the environmental impact of the delivery of our product in that particular state is minimised. KPI 8: Reductions in packaging items in the litter stream. 27. Please indicate your progress this year towards achieving your annual targets and milestones for KPI 8 Display the relevant recycling and litter logos on our products. Maintain a litter free working environment. Three Threes ensures that the jar is identifiable as recyclable and we request that consumers dispose of it responsibly. In following HACCP, Three Threes is required to have a litter free environment where all waste is removed periodically to ensure there is no build-up of litter or waste of any sort on our premises. We continue to pass independent audits of our premises, ensuring that we follow HACCP and SQF requirements. This is reflected in our continued success as a supplier of product to the major grocery chains and positive relationship with our local council. 28. Describe any constraints or opportunities that affected performance under this KPI Our jars contain information in regard to proper recycling and disposal, giving the consumer every opportunity to do the right thing and recycle where possible. Three Threes product is mainly consumed at home where there is a kerbside collection system or in places of employment where there will usually also be a recycling station for the main materials i.e. glass and cardboard. As a company working in the food manufacturing sector, we must meet stringent requirements through HACCP and SQF, which includes the need to maintain a clean production facility and surrounds.

Your Experiences This section lets you share with us any achievements, good news stories and areas of difficulties in making progress against your plan and the Covenant goals and KPIs. 29. Key achievements or good news stories Three Threes continues to source the majority of its packaging from Australian based manufacturers which are, themselves, APC signatories and have provided Three Threes with information related to the recycled content of their respective packaging. Our major cardboard carton supplier has certified that the cartons that they supply to us have 100% recycled content fibre. While our glass manufacturer and supplier current supplies glass jars with an averga 45% recycled content, but is aiming to achieve 60% post-consumer recycled glass content in the next three years.
