2 How uship Works Complete Your Profile Once you have registered, fill out your uship profile so potential customers can learn more about you and the services you provide. Completing your profile is the best way for you to market your business and win more jobs on uship. Service Providers with profiles that are 100% complete are the most successful at winning jobs in the uship marketplace. Find Find shipments that you are able to transport using uship s innovative Find Shipments tool. You can search for shipments by location and filter results by shipment type, timeframe, and more. Bid Bid on the shipments you find, using the bid form to give customers important information about logistics and your business. Use the Question and Answer section to clarify any additional details before placing a bid. Match Match! Once your bid is accepted, uship will send contact information to you and the customer. Upon a shipment s completion, both you and the customer can leave feedback, building your reputation for future customers.

3 Find Find Shipments is the perfect resource for finding profitable jobs to fill those empty miles. Narrow your search using location searches and category filters to match your precise criteria. Find Shipments Search by Location Use the tabs at the top of the Find Shipments page to narrow your search by geographical location. Multi-State Search for shipments traveling between specific states. Along a Route Search for shipments traveling along a specific route. This search feature makes it easy to fill empty cargo space and back hauls. Intrastate Search for shipments within a single state. Local Search for shipments within a city. International Search for shipments which originate in or are destined for a different country. Filter by Category Use the category filters on the left side of the page if you specialize in transporting a specific type of load. Focus on only shipments you can accommodate. Ask Questions Use the Question and Answer section on the shipment listing to communicate with the customer about their shipment. Frequent, professional communication with a customer will encourage them to accept your bid. Enter Bid Details Place a bid by filling out the form at the bottom of the shipment listing page. You should provide information about the services you offer and your proposed shipping timeframe. Place Bids uship informs the customer when your bid has been placed so they may review it, ask questions, and accept or decline the bid. uship s Bid Alerts notify you when the customer takes any action on your bid. Bid Notification Choose how you would like to be updated on the status of your bid. uship will notify you within the uship Message Center and . You may also choose to be notified via phone or text message. TIP: Add your business to the uship Provider Directory to enable shippers to find your business and request bids directly from you on their shipments.

5 Match A match occurs when a customer formally accepts your bid on uship. At that point you can take the next steps to complete the shipment: Accepted Bids Contact Once a match occurs, uship sends contact information to each party so you can communicate directly with the customer. Work out any remaining logistics with the customer directly and schedule a firm pick-up and delivery date. Complete Stay in contact with the customer throughout the pick-up and delivery so they know the status of their shipment. Deliver the shipment and receive final payment directly from the customer.
