2 Online or mobile sourcing has become common practice for buyers. The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) is riding this wave by launching Thematic e-magazines to highlight hot products from various industries, and promote them through a series of online and offline channels at local and overseas trade fairs to capture sourcing enquiries from international visiting buyers. Furthermore, selected themes will be paired up with showcase displays at HKTDC trade fairs for comprehensive promotion, helping suppliers grab the attention of buyers and facilitate business opportunities. Thematic e-magazine: Targeted Promotions Maximise Effectiveness Target Buyers: e-magazines are tailored to promote hot products, published along to the schedule of local and international large-scale trade fairs. Effective onsite promotions attract buyers to browse and download the e-magazine onto their devices. Readers Geographic Distribution: e-magazine Circulation: Online Version Free browsing at App Version HKTDC Marketplace App for free download The HKTDC Marketplace App integrates information on HKTDC trade fairs, product magazines and the online marketplace onto one mobile platform to assist buyer sourcing. Electronic buyer badges are also available on the HKTDC Marketplace App, which helps to drive more buyers to download the app, and boost magazine readership and advertising exposure. Personalised settings to enhance buyers experience. The app will recommend relevant product magazines according to buyers preference Pop-up messages via the app to alert relevant buyers to download the latest magazines once they are available Selected contents are highlighted to attract buyers to browse various sections of the magazines Advertisements on online and app versions will be hyperlinked to suppliers webpage on hktdc.com Sourcing, facilitating buyers to obtain more company and product information Each advertiser can display its company information and 10 product photos on hktdc.com Sourcing for one year Advertisers can include 360 animated photos or videos in their advertisements # # Advertisers have to submit files which comply with specified format requirements. The HKTDC can provide 360 animated photo service at a cost of HK$500 / US$80. For video format conversion service, each submission is charged at HK$800 / US$130.

3 O2O Cross-Platform Promotions: A Powerful Tool to Reach Target Buyers Fairground Promotions: Effective promotions at various visitor touch points at HKTDC trade fairs in Hong Kong, including the TV Wall next to the buyer registration counters and overhead hanging banners. Ambassadors are also available at the fairground to facilitate buyers to download thematic e-magazines onto their smart devices for reading and sourcing. Attract relevant buyers to download and read via promotion at buyer service counters at HKTDC fairs and related industry product magazines Online Promotions: Thematic e-magazines are scheduled to be published during the related fair period. s will be sent to relevant buyers in the HKTDC database after publication and further promotion via the below online channels will facilitate buyers to preview suppliers products and plan fair visits Buyer e-newsletter

4 Product Displays at HKTDC Trade Fairs in Hong Kong To attract the attention of buyers and enhance suppliers promotion effectiveness, HKTDC offers onsite product display service for selected themes so that visiting buyers can learn more about the products. Prime Location: Located at high-traffic exhibition hall entrances or concourses for greater exposure. Exhibitors can attract buyers to visit their booths via showcase displays Display Formats: Supplier can display up to 10 products in a showcase, or 1 product on platform, table-top or mannequin QR Codes Generate Business Opportunities: A dedicated QR code will be assigned to each showcase or display unit, allowing buyers to download company details and product information of suppliers via smart devices. Suppliers will receive a list of buyers who scanned their QR codes for further business discussions Social media feeds Fair website promotion

5 Themes with Overseas Trade Fairs Promote Premium Hong Kong Products (Only applicable to Hong Kong advertisers) Apart from different product themes, HKTDC will publish 4 thematic e-magazines targeting trade fairs in Europe and North America, including Ambiente, CES, electronica and International Home and Housewares Show to promote selected premium Hong Kong products. The Hong Kong Pavilion will be set up at these overseas fairs to proactively promote the e-magazines to visiting buyers, allowing local suppliers to reach out to targeted international buyers more easily.
