Following the trend, we want to take part in this emerging concept. We want to innovate the event industry by introducing Fissacoin as a cryptocurrency that can also be used as a token. 6 PRODUCT System Fissacoin as a currency uses blockchain technology. Main advantages are anonymity, speed and security. Fissacoin is available in a so called decentralized free market environment. Therefore it is possible for everyone to acquire Fissacoins. Trading in Fissacoin is allowed too. This means that it functions quite similarly to regular (crypto)currencies. Besides a decentralized environment we also offer a centralized one. The latter differs completely from the former. This option has been designed for event organisers. The host of an event orders an agreed amount of Fissacoins. They are then marked. The function of Fissacoin changes to that of a token. Now visitors can buy the tokens at the counter and use them for payments. The decentralized market value has no influence on the value of the centralized tokens during the time of the event. The centralized and decentralized environments are strictly separated. Trading from centralized to decentralized or vice versa is therefore not possible. Web wallet If you want to obtain Fissacoins you need to register as a user and create an account. The trading in Fissacoin can only happen between verified clients. The web wallet enables this. Both in the decentralized and in the centralized environment the web wallet gives you an overview where you can find the stack and the transaction history, trading options and other functions like creating groups and shared paying. In the decentralized zone (i.e. not at an event) the web wallet functions as an ordinary trading platform. In the centralized zone (i.e. at an event) the platform is limited to the visitors and attendees of such an event. 8 PRODUCT Mobile aplication The mobile application exists next to the web wallet and actually enables you to purchase goods and services at an event. The app is available in Google Play and App store. The mobile app is the payment tool for the centralized zone. The mobile app does not have the option to trade with other users and serves therefore no real purpose in the decentralized zone. It is of course possible to view the stack and transaction history at all times, both with and without internet connection. Payments can also be done offline. Bracelet An extra solution for people who couldn t have acquired Fissacoins or lack a smartphone or tablet. The bracelet is solely for events. Visitors of an event can get a bracelet and upload Fissacoins on it, either from the cashier or from their personal stack. It is technically possible to transfer Fissacoins between the wallet (web and mobile) and the bracelet endlessly. 11 PRODUCT About the Live Music Industry The live music business is a significant multinational industry, employing hundreds of thousands of people worldwide and estimated to be worth more than 25 billion annually (source: IFPI). The sector has become increasingly important to the livelihood of artists and musicians in recent years because of the global downturn in the sales of recorded music. Those dwindling sales mean that many artists have come to rely on the revenues they make through their live performances for the mainstay of their income. The value chain in the live music industry starts with the artist, but there are many people involved in supporting an act and helping them to achieve success in their live careers individuals such as the artist manager, agent and promoters, as well as venue operators, ticketing companies and a myriad of suppliers and contractors. The risk takers in the value chain are the promoters. The promoter will negotiate a fee with the agent to secure an act for a particular show, festival date or tour. The promoter is also the person who will hire the venue and undertake the marketing and promotional campaign to sell tickets for the show or tour. Together with the agent and artist manager, the promoter will decide on the ticket prices for the show, with the plan being that enough fans will buy tickets to cover the show s costs and, hopefully, turn a profit. The promoter may also organise a festival, which is a sector of the business that has grown substantially over the last ten years. 12 TECHNOLOGY Blockchain The Fissacoin blockchain is similar to Bitcoin and Litecoin blockchains and differ mainly in the way block rewards and fees are assigned. A block reward Breward is always assigned to the node in the verifier pool that created the new block. Micro-payments µpay from CR transactions are always earned by miners. Block rewards are always a fraction of the mining costs, so the highest incentive on the network is for miners to rent out storage, computer and bandwidth. Network Consensus Network Consensus in Fissacoin is maintained by a pool of Verifier Nodes and useful proof of work for miners. A pool of verifiers is picked using a pseudo random process where the probability of being a part of the verifier pool is directly proportional to the number of coins stacked into the network. 13 Proof of stake In order to enter a verifier pool, any node in the Fissacoin network can stake tokens into an unspendable balance on the account called the stake balance. Transactions to increase or decrease stake balance can happen only when the sender sends tokens to itself and setting transaction type to increase account stake(σdc). In order to protect the network from rogue nodes that just transfer balance into a stake account to win block reward and immediately move the balance to another spendable account, the network does the following order. 1. Transactions from DC Balance to Stake Balance are not confirmed for Confirmation Window W with n blocks 2. Maintain a barrier to entry, which is defined as the minimum Stake Balance an account has to hold in order to qualify for the Verifier Pool. 3. 14 TECHNOLOGY We have chosen the Dutch based TransIP B.V. as our hosting company. The blockchain, the seednode and the mvp all run on their own Ubuntu server. All servers consist of their own backup, managing and log system, which we can check manually. If any error occurs we immediately inform everyone involved and we make sure to quickly solve the issue. The system logs every single action automatically. Only personal data are exempt from logging. That is how we guarantee the safety for our users. A user has the right to let the account be erased from the system, under the condition that no more Fissacoins are in his possession. If for some reason the log system encounters a problem with an account or action that could damage the system, we block the account and freeze the stack. The duration might be temporarily but can become definitive. Fissacoin uses two applications. The web version, also called web wallet, is available through a browser. 16 FISSA TEAM In 2017 the Fissacoin project started with the development and fulfillment of our platform. We grow steadily and we are constantly looking for possible expansion. Fissacoin has mainly been set up to function as a token and replace the old-fashioned (hard plastic) festival coins. Therefore it fits within the expectations of event organisers. We don t consider ourselves exclusively for festivals. Every event could use the Fissacoin system as the preferred way of paying. That goes for musicals, theatre, cinema and ordinary pubs and clubs. Everything is possible as long as user friendliness is remained. Fissacoin is going to be the true party currency around the world. That is our mission. Fissacoin has an open-minded attitude towards third parties if working together is advantageous. The role or core business of the third party is not of great importance as long as it doesn t overshadow Fissacoin. In the end it is all about organisers and visitors of events.
