2 Process Safety Management Summit III Manchester will play host to the 2018 PSM Summit, with the event being led by the UK PSM Competence Programme Board, the Process Safety Forum and the COMAH Strategic Forum. Following on from the launch in 2012 of the PSM Competence Programme Board s UK Strategy for Skills in Process Safety Management, practitioners and executives from industry, stakeholder and regulatory bodies will come together for the 3rd in a triennial series of PSM Summits taking place in It will also highlight the best practice guidance and support available from across these forums. With support from the Health & Safety Executive and case studies from industry, the Summit will encourage stakeholders and businesses in all sectors with the potential for major accidents or catastrophic incidents to understand how the underlying principles of process safety can be applied to the management of hazards and risks in their business.

We are expecting over 150 of the most senior UK process safety leaders from all levels of COMAH sites, plus senior management from relevant organisations who are involved in potentially hazardous environments. This is an opportunity to meet with members of the UK Process Safety Management Competence Programme Board to influence future direction and priorities in process safety management standards.
