5 THE VENUE Tartu Airport, Estonia AIRFIELD EW Live will comprise of three days of live electronic warfare equipment demonstrations at Tartu Airport. A live COMINT & ELINT threat spectrum setting (as indicated in the image right) will present the threat context to current and new types of EW operational equipment. HANGAR CLASSROOM In close proximity to Tartu Airport is Tartu Military Air Base at Raadi Airfield. Tartu Airport is also adjacent to the Estonian Aviation Academy which provides education and training to specialists for Estonian aviation enterprises and organisations including close cooperation with Estonian Air Force, Estonian Border Guard Aviation Group & Estonian National Defence College. Tartu Airport is situated 180km/100 mi from the capital Tallinn and 11 km/ 9 mi south southwest of Tartu, the second largest city in Estonia. EW Estonia is by far and away the most productive EW event we have attended in many years there have been numerous leads created from the event and for us the live approach is the best way to go. Being able to prove the capability in a live environment both brought customers closer but also showed them that in sometimes difficult operating environments the system will perform and give good results and from an operational perspective show the customers the actual form factor of the system and how it can be deployed.
