3 Introduction This document outlines the order entry operation of the LSC Stores Ordering system. How to log in and access the LSC Stores Ordering System Website information To connect to the system, open any web browser and connect to the following site: The website provides a secure mechanism for each user to login and use the system. 4 Login operation To log into the system, input the following information and click the Login button. Company: lsc User Name: (Assigned by Atlantis) Password: (Assigned by Atlantis) Order Operations How to place a new order To place a new order with the LSC Stores all you have to do is the following: 1. Indicate the Speed Chart (SC) / Project Grant (PG) that is to be used for the order. 2. After verifying the SC/PG information, proceed to indicate where the order should be sent to or if it is to be picked up. Page 4

5 3. Input the first product you would like to order by entering part of the product no, description or vendor. The system will automatically search the product number, description and vendor. 4. Select the product you require by clicking on it once and selecting ENTER or double clicking. Page 5

6 5. Enter the quantity required and any comments for the product then select "Update" to add the product to the order. 6. Repeat steps 3, 4 and 5 until all the products have been entered. 7. At this point you can either "Submit Order and New" or "Submit Order and Print". Select "Submit Order and Print". The order number will be displayed. Page 6

9 How to use basic product search To access real time and up-to-date information regarding stock levels and prices at the LSC Stores, simply type in the part of the desired product number, description or vendor in the Product Number You will then be provided with a list indicating stock levels and pricing. In this example the system has automatically retrieved all "gloves". Page 9

10 How to use advanced product search 1. The system allows for advanced searching of products. To access the advanced search select the magnifying glass next to the product number entry field. 2. Enter the search parameter/s into the corresponding field. In this example we are searching for "tube" from the Vendor "bio basic". Next select Search. Page 10

11 3. Select the preferred view from the dropdown list. In this example the view is Basic. Change the view to 'Price'. Page 11

12 4. All "tube" products from "bio basic" are displayed along with price details. Select the product by clicking to the left of the "Product No" and clicking "SELECT". 5. Enter the quantity required and any comments for the product then select "Update" to add the product to the order. Page 12

13 How to view past purchases from LSC/stores 1. You can review past purchases from the LSC/Stores by selecting the View Previous Purchases. 2. When selected, this button displays a list of all your past purchases. The top half of the screen displays the invoice details for past purchases and the bottom half displays the products on the invoice. Page 13

15 3. Select the product/s to order and add to the order by selecting "Add Selected Items to Order". In the example both items from invoice will be added to the order. Note: the qtys from the invoice will also be used in the order. 4. Continue adding products to the order. Page 15

16 How to Logout and Exit the Program When you finish you can logout by selecting the Logout on the top right corner of the screen. This logs you out and displays the login screen for the next user to login. Page 16

17 How to Track Your Orders The status of your orders can be displayed by selecting "Track orders". The top half of the screen displays the order details and the bottom half displays the products in the order. Page 17

18 How to Create a Special Order If you don t find the product that you would like to order, you can do a special order within the normal ordering form. 1. Type "special order" in the Product number field. A drop-down menu then shows each vendor in our data base. Double Click on the supplier you wish to order from, and their name will appear in the Product Number and Description fields. 2. In the Quantity field enter the amount of this item you would like to order. 3. In the Comment field enter the vendor s Product number and a description of the product. 4. Click onupdate. You have now successfully entered your first "special order" item. After this you can continue to add more items both stock and "special order" or you can select "Save and Print Order" to complete and submit your order. **Please note once an item has been special ordered it will remain in the system as a non-stock item. So if you need to order this item again it will not require the special ordering process anymore. Page 18
