2 Information Are you a crafter, quilter, painter, bread or cheese maker?.for just 20 be part of Fleet and District Carnival with a home for your business in the heart of the action. Each summer the Carnival weekend of events are bigger and better, attracting over 3000 people from the local area to see the craft, car, dog and baby events on the Sunday. This year the new committee will be bringing in fresh ideas including the expansion of the craft show to the Makers Market, that will not only offer crafts but local food produce too. The 2019 Makers Market venue is to be confirmed but will be slightly different to last year. We will have all stalls and food stalls together this year as we find this attracts more people to the variation of stalls. All stall holders wishing to sell food for consumption MUST comply with all local and national laws and regulations regarding the production, labelling, display, storage and sale of produce and relevant trading standards legislation - All stalls providing food for consumption must be staffed by food handlers who have the appropriate Food Hygiene Rating for the business and confirmation of food hygiene training. A documented food safety management system (such as SFBB or similar) which is relevant to the size and nature of your business/charity must be present at the event for the scrutiny of environmental health officers. - Please provide proof of registration with your local authority - If you have a gas appliance you should provide a gas safety certificate to show it is safe for use Dates: 7th July 2019 Location: TBC RAISING FUNDS FOR

This will be sent 2 weeks prior to the event.) Electricity We cannot provide electricity. If you would like bring your own silenced diesel generator, then you will need to provide the necessary certificates when you submit your forms. Additional Infomation You will receive confirmation upon receipt of payment. Further information regarding pitch location will be sent 2 weeks prior to the event. Arrival Please see below for your arrival and departure times. Please ensure you adhere to these timings, failure to arrive on time will mean you will not be permitted to drive onto the field to unload. Day Arrival Departure No vehicle access Sunday am 5:00pm 10am-5pm Please enter the field via the entrance on Reading Road North (Past the Cricket Ground) (Main Gate). Make sure you have your access pass clearly visible in your vehicle. At the gate you will be greeted by a member of the carnival team, who will direct you to your pitch. Once you have unpacked your vehicle you will need to remove it from Calthorpe Park. Free parking for stall holders has been arranged at the Football ground which can be found via Gate 3, please ask a member of the carnival team for directions. Limited disabled parking is available and can be requested if required. NOTE: All vehicles must be off the field prior to the No Vehicle Access times. There will be no vehicle movement on the field during these periods. Departure Please note the departure time for your day, this indicates what time you will be able to have vehicle access to field in order to begin packing up. Please note, these timings may vary slightly on the day, so please wait for confirmation from the carnival team before moving your vehicle. Please depart the park via Gate 3 to Crookham Road; members of the carnival team will help direct you off the park.if you have a pitch over the weekend and wish to leave any equipment on the park this is allowed, there will be security throughout each night. Please NOTE, anything left will be entirely at your own risk, Fleet & District Carnival have no responsibility for any items which are Lost, Broken or Stolen. 2

4 FAQ s Cancellation Policy Once your stall has been confirmed and payment has been made the booking fee is non refundable. How will I identify a member of the carnival team? All Carnival Committee Members and Volunteers will be wearing high viz jackets. Committee Members will have lanyards stating they are part of the committee. Where do I go if I have any issues on the day? Carnival HQ, which will be located in the centre of the park and will be clearly signed. A member of the Carnival Committee will be located here at all times Will I have access to water? There are a number of water outlets available on the park. Please ask a member of the carnival team if you need to locate these. If you require water please make sure you remember a bottle/carton to transport it to your pitch. Will I have access to electricity? Unfortunately, we can t provide electricity. If you require electricity for your stall, you are able to bring your own silenced diesel generator, providing you have the necessary paperwork. Are there toilets onsite? There will be a number of portable toilets available onsite, these will be clearly signposted. Will there be bins onsite? Any waste that is generated over Carnival weekend has to be paid to be removed. As such you are responsible for disposing of your own waste. You will be invoiced for any waste that is left behind on your pitch. Will there be disabled parking? There are a limited number of disabled parking spaces, please notify the carnival team prior to the event should one be required. What if I need to contact someone with an issue before arriving on-site? Contactfleetcarnival@gmail.com How to get there By Car: The Park is on the A323 (Reading North Road) just west of its intersection with the A3013 (Fleet Road). Train: Fleet Station and a 30 minute (1 mile) walk. Enter via Main Gate: Enter just off Reading Road North, drive past the cricket ground and follow the road down to Calthorpe Park. There will be a team member there to greet you. 3
