About us The Australian Council for Health, Physical Education and Recreation, Victorian Branch (ACHPER) is a professional association representing teachers and other professionals working in the fields of health, physical education, sport and recreation areas of study in Victoria. It is a member based, not-for-profit organisation with significant profile. ACHPER Victorian Branch represents almost half of the total membership of ACHPER nationally with 1400 financial members. We currently have 583 primary teachers, 732 secondary teachers, 23 tertiary students and 62 sport and fitness industry members. Vision and Mission The vision of the Branch is to promote active and healthy living for all Australians whilst advocating quality health and physical education for all students. Our mission is to equip and enable teachers to maximise student outcomes in health, physical education, sport, outdoor education and related studies. 5 Conference background The ACHPER Victorian Branch professional learning conference has a rich history, supporting the development of teachers for over 20 years. Our event is the biggest conference of all the ACHPER state branches across Australia, consistently attracting over 1,000 health, physical education, sport and recreation teachers from Victoria. Due to the size of our event, we also host teachers from Interstate and International including countries such as New Zealand, South Africa, China, United Arab Emirates, Indonesia and Japan. 17 Terms and Conditions Delegate Pack Insert All pack inserts must be A4 double sided flyers unless negotiated by the ACHPER Conference organiser Conference pack inserts are subject to limited availability Conference pack inserts come at a cost of $700 per insert which must be paid to the Branch by close of business Friday 1 November 2013 Conference pack inserts must be received by the Branch by close of business Friday 8 November 2013 No refunds will be provided to organisations who do not supply their flyers by the designated time Sponsorship Agreements All sponsorship proposals will be forwarded to the Conference committee for approval The ACHPER Conference organiser will confirm or decline the proposal within 5 working days To be deemed a Gold, Silver of Bronze Sponsor, a signed written agreement must be documented and signed between ACHPER Victorian Branch and the organisation seeking status Once signed, the Branch will send an invoice which is to be paid within 14 days of the invoice issue date Cancellation policy Notice of cancellation must be submitted in writing to the Conference committee prior to the event If a confirmed sponsor cancels prior to Friday 1 November 2013, a 50% cancellation fee will apply.
