1 1 September 2017 Dear Members, Welcome back to our fourth circular of the year. Hope you had a refreshing summer and enjoyed Badenfahrt. It was great to see many of you volunteering at our stall Namaste India with full enthusiasm to make it a grand success. After the Sommerpause our IAB calendar continues in full swing and we have three more exciting events left including the highlight of the year, namely the GALA Evening. 2 Our fifth event: Gala Evening It is our pleasure to notify you about the biggest event in the IAB calendar, the GALA Evening! The official invitations should be in your post-box in next few days. Exciting and unique features of the event: Theme: Carrom Board Venue: Completely new and modern creating a unique ambience!!! Registration: Use of new system (scroll below for details)! Here is some vital information for the event: Venue: Campussaal Kultur + Kongress, Bahnhofstrasse 6, 5210 Windisch Date: Saturday, 25 November 2017 Program: 17:30 Door Opening 18:00 Dinner 19:30 Lamp Lighting and Speeched 20:00 Carrom Board Musical 21:30 Rocking Bollywood DJ Access: Public transport: 2 mins walk from train station Brugg. When you arrive at the station follow the direction Campus. Private transport: GPS address: Bahnhofstrasse 6, 5210 Windisch If your GPS does not find Bahnhofstrasse 6, 5210 Windisch, then enter Gaswerkstrasse, Windisch and when you arrive at the last roundabout turn onto the road which is opposite to Gaswerkstrasse. Parking: You can park at the Campus Parking, which is the easiest. If it is full, there are more parking spots on Gaswerkstrasse, Parking Neumarkt and some blue and white spots are scattered in the vicinity of the event location. 3 The prices (CHF) for GALA Evening are as follows: Category Single Couple Adolescents (10 18) Students (18 25) Members* Non-members (*) Member rates also apply to: Grand Children (less than 18 years old) of members registered for the event Visiting (should not be resident of CH) relatives/friends of members registered for the event Registration: This year we have a new tool for GALA registrations! We will be using the online ticketing platform Eventbrite, as it eases lots of process for the us, the organizers, and you, the guests. Registrations can be done directly on iabgala2017.eventbrite.com (Strongly recommended!) Eventbrite is very convenient as it allows you to directly pay the participations fees on their platform. Hence, you don t need to wire the money via E-Banking. You can pay with PayPal, American Express, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa. If you don t have PayPal and simply want to use your credit card, be sure to click Check Out as a Guest. Alternatively, you can choose offline payment where you can request your ticket and simultaneously transfer the participation fees via the traditional E-banking method: Indian Association, 5401 Baden Account No IBAN: CH

We would also like to share in our brochure the talents of IAB kids. Hence, I would welcome any piece of work of your child (writings, poems, paintings) that you think is appropriate to be included in the GALA brochure. 5 IAB membership fees: For new members wanting to join our association, the following membership fee applies (half of the regular fee). Please communicate this to your friends who would like to join. Family member: CHF 50 Family comprises husband, wife & children till 18 years Single member: CHF 32.5 Student member: CHF 12.5 If you have not paid your membership fee yet, kindly pay the full amount. Personal details: In case your home address, address, telephone numbers have changed recently, we would kindly ask you to notify us and forward us those details so we can update our database accordingly and make sure you receive all our communications.
