2. 1 Meet Fructus In a world where food consumption is rapidly outpacing food production in the coming years, a solution in efficiency is needed. Every day millions of consumers buy fresh produce through multinationals, wasting an estimated 15% to 30% of all fruits and vegetables. Fructus is a project aiming to change the business of fresh produce trade and delivery. Starting in the diverse agricultural landscape of Europe, we see an opportunity to scale and change the world. Trust issues concerning products being GMO's (Genetically Modified Organism) or 100% organic, expiration date fraud and wastefully slow processes can all be battled when integrated into the Fructus platform. With Fructus all transactions are processed and registered in the blockchain, giving all parties involved the ability to keep track of products and payments. Customers can see where products are coming from and what was used to help grow the crop. Suppliers can find customers and manage their sales and incentives. Taking out the middle man is another bonus when we look at is financially as suppliers and customers connect without a grocery store in between, keeping products cheap and fresh. Our shipment service will be available in more and more regions, starting with suppliers in Italy, France and Spain, to initially provide for consumers in Italy, Spain, France, Germany and Benelux. A special Fructus Debit Card will be introduced to help facilitate fast and easy pick-ups at the local Fructus-Spots. Game Changers: Know where your food comes from. Know how your food was grown. No expiration date fraud. No middle man. 3

2.2 Social and Economic Challenges Empower rural people and local businesses to develop better policies Strengthening rural communities' capacities for production and for delivery of ecosystems services. Fostering economic diversification, ensuring appropriate relations between rural and urban areas, as well as facilitating knowledge exchange, demonstration, innovation and dissemination. They will support policy makers in defining relevant strategies. Build a sustainable and competitive agri-food industry Addressing the needs for the food and feed industry to cope with social, environmental, climate and economic change from local to global. Projects will consider all stages of the food and feed production chain, including food design, processing, packaging, process control, waste reduction, by-product valorization and the safe use or disposal of animal by-products. Improve production efficiency, sustainability and resilience Enhancing productivity as well as limiting wastefulness to adept to a rapidly changing environment and climate with increasingly scarce natural resources. The resulting innovations will help to move towards a resource-efficient agriculture and food and feed supply chains which consume fewer resources. Deliver more public goods and ecosystem services Contributing to a better understanding of the complex interactions between primary production systems and ecosystems services. Supporting the provision of these public goods and services through the delivery of management solutions, decision-support tools and the assessment of their market and non-market value. Support market development for bio-based products and processes Opening new markets for biotechnology innovation, through in particular demand-side measures. Standardization and certification at Union and international levels are needed for, amongst others, determination of bio-based content, product functionalities and biodegradability. Methodologies and approaches to life-cycle analysis will be further developed. 4

2.3 Opportunities As details in multiple reports by the European Commission, the agricultural markets in Europe are strong and numerous. Retail sales of organic products (European Union) totaled approximately EUR 33.4 billion market value in Main reason behind the market value is the high quality of European crops, as prices rise even faster than the production rate. Prices are expected to rise even further now that food consumption is outpacing food production. The fruit and vegetable sector in the EU - a statistical overview Statistics on agricultural markets We see a great opportunity for Fructus, looking for suppliers in countries considered Europe s top produce traders like Spain, Italy and France. Distribution will be set-up in Spain, Italy, France, Germany and Benelux. 5

2.4 Future Prospects After setting up business in Europe we aim to expand to Africa, where the need for fair and sustainable produce trade is high. Millions of people are disenfranchised by multinationals as they take natural sources at minimum cost while destroying local ecosystems with chemicals and waste. The Fructus platform will not only allow free trade, but will also function as a banking system as all users can keep balances on their wallets with no limits or hidden tariffs. Once the roll-out in Africa is on its way we will start arrangements for more expansionary moves all over the world. 6

3.1 Fructus Platform Explained The Fructus Platform will become the first decentralized produce marketplace where consumers buy products directly from manufacturers, enjoy low transparent prices for a wide range of products, and save on direct promotions. Manufacturers compete for consumers and interact with them directly. To secure and sustain the network on which our platform is build consumers and suppliers will use Fructuscoins instead of fiat currencies. By doing so all transactions are recorded in our blockchain, known as the Fructuschain, making all trades and deliveries fully decentralized. To participate in the trade of fresh produce, users creates an account on the Fructus platform. During registration, the system will create a user profile and a wallet. Each wallet preserves all data in the decentralized database called the Fructuschain, and interact with other parties, utilizing smart contracts. We plan to place the Fructuscoin on cryptographic token exchanges, giving an opportunity to openly buy them (to residents of countries where the purchase of digital tokens does not violate local laws). Currently the expected go-live date for the mainnet is Q Tokens bought in the ICO sale can then be swapped for Mainnet Fructuscoins. Once completed our platform can run functions like asking suppliers to register proof of what seeds and pesticide they use. This data will be registered with certified scanners through apps, making sure suppliers are not fraudulent. Storing this information in the blockchain gives consumers the option to later on check where the food came from and how it was grown. At the 7

same time consumers can register proof of products that do not meet the generally stated expectations, to instantly claim a refund. All fruits and vegetables unfit for consumption can be returned to the local Fructus-Spot, where we will redistribute the produce towards local Compost Farms giving the initial suppliers a downsized payment for products that would have ultimately not been sold. These processes will stimulate suppliers to send the best and most fresh produce to minimize refunds. Suppliers are rated based on their performance to let future customers know what they can expect. All to further facilitate an honest and transparent eco system. 8

3.2 Platform Placeholders To create a truly free marketplace, the platform will be built in a scalable and decentralized approach that ensures sustainability. The marketplace will involve the following placeholders, which will participate as depicted in the next diagram: Fructus Platform Farmers Consumers Delivery Services *The fees described above may be subject to change at a later stage. 9

Fructus Platform The Fructus platform creates a decentralized marketplace that enables farmers to post their products for sale, host promotion campaigns, and get feedback from customers. It allows consumers to order products and facilitates the order fulfillment process. Fructus roles include: - Fructuscoin creation and the token launch to fund development and expansion - Establishment of a decentralized, secure and fair model for market making - Development, release and maintenance of the customer web portal and app; fulfillment app for fulfillment center workers and couriers; and web interfaces for farmers and fulfillment center operators - Development of smart contracts to run the order payment and fulfillment process - Creation of an effective incentive model for all parties to join the Fructus platform - Perform audits on suppliers to see if all entered information about crops is valid - Development of active marketing campaigns Farmers Farmers are companies or individuals in the business of fresh produce. They could range from local farmers to large multinationals. Farmer roles include: - Publish products - Deliver products ordered by consumers to fulfillment centers - Register information about the products they grow in the blockchain - Bring in more traffic via promotion and loyalty campaigns Consumers Consumers are individuals or companies that want to buy online specific fruits and vegetables at cheaper prices. Orders can be placed via the Fructus web portal or Fructus app. Consumer roles include: - Search products listed by farmers - Receive promotion, loyalty, referral and feedback rewards - Make orders and pay for them - Participate in feedback requests 10

Delivery Services FULFILLMENT CENTER OPERATORS Fructus will engage independent fulfillment center operators to join the platform and help fast geographical expansion. They provide the space where workers take products delivered by farmers and assemble orders. COURIERS Couriers, employed by a firm or acting as sub-contractors, will follow instructions received through the Fructus app to: - Pick up orders from fulfillment centers - Deliver orders to consumers 11

4.1 Development & Implementation - General We started development on the Fructus platform in December 2017, with our main focus on releasing a workable application for selling and buying fruit or vegetables with the help of our own decentralized currency. At this point the scheduled release of the ALPHA version is Q Before that can happen we need to complete our mainnet so that the Fructuscoin can move from the Ethereum blockchain to our own blockchain, the Fructuschain. Work is well on its way, with an expected release in Q After both of those developments are done we can begin testing the platform and recruit more suppliers to join in. At this moment we are speaking to multiple farmers in Spain and France already to make sure we can hit the road running when ALPHA is released. To make sure we have at least one Fructus-Spot in every major city, our fulfillment exploration team has commenced the search of third party transportation companies. We expect negotiations to complete in Q Once the platform is operative we expect more and more sub-contractors to join in as popularity and volume of traffic grow. 12

7.1 Roadmap 22

7.2 Why you should invest in Fructus To promote our ICO sale we have planned an open airdrop, starting in Q We will give the first users a total of 1,500,000 FRUCTUS. Users can claim $15 worth of Fructuscoins by doing social tasks. Every new user you refer to the airdrop earns you $3 worth of extra Fructuscoin. If the Airdrop pool runs out, we will add enough extra coins to airdrop a total of users from the Future Use pool. A Pre ICO Sale will be available during the airdrop, giving 100% bonus on any investment. After the airdrops have been completed the ICO will commence in Q During the ICO up to 45 million Fructuscoins will be sold for 0.30 USD per coin. Depending on the ICO round investors will get up to 80% bonus on their investment. We will give small affiliate bonuses for first and second level referral, which are respectively 5% and 2%. After the ICO sale has been completed all remaining coins will be burned, making the Fructuscoin scarcer. The burn could be as high as 20 million coins, dropping the circulating supply down to 25 million Fructuscoins. We are already in contact with exchanges to get Fructuscoin tradable within 1 month after the ICO. From that moment on investors can either sell their coins to new investors or keep them until we have a working product to see maximum gains. 23

7.3 Conclusion Fructus will change the world of supply and demand when it comes to fresh produce. Less waste, more profit for suppliers and better prices for consumers. Starting in top producing countries in Europe, getting ready to expand and go global. Investors can expect first results when we hit the crypto exchanges in January. Our advice is to hold on to the Fructuscoins until testing begins in Q
