3 About Out of the Woods was started in 2016 by Brittany. She was previously working as a dental hygienist when she had her son, Nash. It was then that she realized she wanted more flexibility in her work life so she could spend more time with family. She started by making custom signs and expanded into sign parties has been a year of massive growth and the next natural step for OOTW is to grow the family! That's where you come in. By joining our dynamic team, together, we are able to reach more people and help you get that financial freedom you've been dreaming of as well!

4 what is a signandsip Party Our guests create rustic wood signs with the help of vinyl stencils and of course - US! So you've never made a sign before? Are you not crafty? No Problem! We have training videos to train you to be an amazing teacher. We will provide you with all of the knowledge needed to make perfect signs and to troubleshoot and fix any issues that arise.

6 Sign and sip parties Here is a general break down of the Sign & Sip parties for an event with 10 people: - 10 guests at $45 sign = $450 - Cost for stencils = $225 - Approx. cost for wood: $33 - $192 Profit for a 3-hour party Here is a general break down of the Sign & Sip parties for an event with 30 people: - 30 guests at $45 sign = $ Cost for stencils = $675 - Approx. cost for wood: $90 - $585 Profit for a 3-hour party

8 territories We do not offer territories. We generally start out with one ID per area and add more as there is an increase in demand. We may include the current distributor in the process and are open to constructive feedback. If there are distributors in the area or near by please be respectful of each others locations etc. Please note that if you are in an area where events have been booked by a previous distributor they are allowed to continue to do the event or offer it to you. We need you guys to play nice and work together. You will quickly figure out that you could be next door neighbours and it would not change your sales.

9 the Numbers You pay 50% of the ticket price for stencils and are provided with all of the disposables needed for your party. Buy 10 stencils and get one free this is meant for hosts to receive a free sign when hosting a party but you can take advantage of this as well! You are responsible to supply, cut and sand your own boards. We can help you find the cheapest, local sources. Retail pricing is set by OOTW 12x12 sign - $40 Profit $20 12x16 sign - $45 Profit $ x20 sign - $52.5 Profit $ x24 sign - $60 Profit $30 Distributors are not allowed to create their own pricing.

10 What You'll Need Your Host Kit is a one time purchase. We offer 3 sizes 15, 30 and 45. (See below) Which you purchase will depend on the size of parties you would like to host and the profit you would like to see. Party kits - for each party you will submit an order for a party kit. For each stencil, we will include everything needed for the guests to make their signs (tablecloths, garbage bags, sponges, picture hangers, etc)

18 Party Kits For each party you will order a "party kit" This will be when you place your stencil orders. For each stencil we will send you all of the disposables needed for each guest for the party. Shipping is a flat rate of $15 per order. You will receive the below items for each stencil ordered: -Picture hangers (1 per person) -Plates (2 per person) -Table cloths (1 per 6 people) -Garbage bags (1-2 bags per party) -Baby wipes (2 per person) -Gloves (1 per person) The cost of the party kits is just the cost of the stencils. The rest is on us!

19 Supply Refills Paint: We have carefully selected 24 colours that each distributor is required to carry. You may either purchase refills through the website ($10 for an 8oz bottle) or you may purchase cans yourself and refill. Transfer tape: A 50-yard roll of tape. Good for over 200 signs. Cost is $50 per roll. We will provide you with the paint names if you decide to go this way.

20 Shipping All orders are shipped via FedEx or UPS (with the exception of ID's whose mailing address includes a PO box those orders, and only those orders, will ship via Canada Post), and you will be charged the appropriate shipping value on top of your order. Orders are printed, and put into our packing line the morning after your order is placed. So, if you placed your order on a Monday, Tuesday morning it would be printed and added to our packing list. Typically, orders take 2 business days to pick and pack orders. Shipping times are in addition to packing times. Make sure you plan your shipping accordingly.

21 Marketing Marketing materials can be found on our Distributor Facebook page under Files. Right now you will find things like custom business cards, generic business cards, letters for your Hostess and more! Gentle reminder: As per your Independent Distributor contract, all marketing materials must printed from the Out of the Woods Distributor Facebook page or you must receive written permission from Brittany to purchase your own marketing materials (this includes business cards)

22 Facebook Once you've signed your agreement & ordered your first kit, its time to set up your Facebook Business Page to start booking those parties! It is a great little community of distributors; a place to learn, make friends and ask any questions. It's also where you will find helpful PDF's. All Banners & Profile Images will be provided. The name must be as follows: Out of the Woods (Your City) with (Your First Name). This is non-negotiable, by not following this naming guideline you risk having your account de-activated. 23 Hosting Timeline

24 timeline So, you've booked that first party. Congrats! We've put together an easy timeline to follow so you don't miss any steps and feel fully prepared for that first event. 1- Create Facebook Event. Post stencil options and interact with guests. 2- Collect guest orders (you can do this personally or have the host fill out our Event Stencil Template) 3- Get paid, get the money! 4- Order stencils on the website. Please allow AT LEAST a week for processing and shipping. 5- Arrive 30 minutes early to set up. 6- PARTY TIME! Don't forget to take those photos and use those #hastags. 7-Tidy up and thank your host. 8-Pat yourself on the back! You did it! Huzzah!
