In 2003 AOS launched its regional office in Dubai (Media City) to cater for its customers in the Gulf region (Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, KSA, Oman, UAE) and in 2006 it set up representative offices in Kuwait and Qatar. From conception to completion, AOS works in close partnership with its customers, thus ensuring the event not only meets their expectations, but also surpasses them in every way. 21 Case Study 1 Event Type: AOS Production / Public Event Event Name: Al Ahmadi Festival Client: Kuwait Oil Company Date: 6,7,8,9 March 2007 Place: Kuwait City No. of spectators: 35,000 (Public Event) Event Description: Family event open to the public, the event consisted of various kids activities, kids shows, work shops, family entertainment and extreme shows. AOS was in charge of the full organization, from the concept creation to the execution. More then 350 artists where flown from countries like Austria, Armenia, Ukraine, France & Spain. Closing Ceremony show was live on Kuwaiti TV.

22 Case Study 2 Event Type: AOS Production / Public Event Event: Dubai Motor Show December x4 Test drive Track Date: December 2003 Venue: Dubai UAE Trade Center Participants: Nissan Middle East, Land Rover, GMC, Ford Number of Guests: approx 400 per day Idea: AOS Objective: A great and attractive way to introduce the 4x4 cars to the public. The cars were not only displayed, but available for potential customers in life motion. Customers got a chance to learn more about the car as they experienced its handling on the different off-road conditions. AOS organized the entire event: Idea, track logistics, design and building of track, participation management, etc. The event demanded technical and organizational skills. The track was operated by leading 4x4 trainers and executers.

23 Case Study 3 Event Type: AOS Production / Public Event Event: 1 st & 2 nd Concours D Élegance- Classic Vehicles. Date: July 2003 & July 2004 Venue: Faqra Club Lebanon Idea: by AOS Number of participating cars: 100 Number of spectators: over 6,000. Event Description: This event was produced, and entirely managed by AOS. The aim was to invite a select number of classic and vintage car owners to participate in the First Concours d élegance held in Lebanon. Cars were judged on Interior, Exterior, Engine and Chassis based on authenticity, general appearance, care and presentation. To be eligible for The Concours, the cars were over 20 years old. Event management team was divided into two sections: Technical team: Selection of Cars, criteria, judges, technical details to do set up and car participation. Events team: was in charge of creating the activities surrounding the event. Spectacle, car parade, musical show, lighting, music, guest management, etc.

24 Case Study 4 Event Type: Product Launch GMC (Acadia & Sierra) and Ride and Drive Activity Date: March 2007 Event Name: GMC Launch 2007 Client: General Motors Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates Attendees: Wave 1 Members of the GCC Press / Wave 2 General Motors Dealership Representatives / Wave 3 Al Ghandi Automotive Group Guests No. of Pax: Wave 1 75 guests / Wave guests / Wave guests Description: AOS s task was to create something fresh and exciting to re-ignite the Press, dealer and public guests excitement about the GMC brand. With a rich history, our client communicated his desire to incorporate the history of the brand and create a journey through time so that his guests would fully experience and understand the development of the brand. AOS set about finding a venue where such a story could be told and the history re-created. Through the use of 6000 square meters of exhibition space, AOS designed and built a GMC showroom, showcasing vehicles from the past as well as current models. Each area was specifically designed to suit the purpose, whether for a vehicle reveal, product presentation, meeting or social function. To add to the value of the program a ride and drive activity was also arranged so that guests were given the opportunity to test the vehicles on the road, in Dubai. AOS s responsibilities included the development and management of concept creation, venue scouting, branding, gifts, collateral, communication materials, venue management and set up, launch concept, entertainment sourcing, production set up, lighting and sound. In addition AOS managed all guest relations, visa management, transfer and transportation arrangements, logistics, vehicle fleet management, hotel accommodation, food and beverage functions and provided on site administrative assistance.

25 Case Study 5 Event Type: Product Launch Chevrolet and Ride and Drive Activity Lumina, Caprice, Epica, Captiva Event Name: A Bold New Era Date: October/November 2006 Client: General Motors Location: Muscat, Oman Attendees: Members of the GCC Press; General Motors Dealership Representatives; General Motors Fleet Customers No. of Pax: 450 Description: This complex launch of multiple vehicles consisted of three waves each tailored to suit the client s requirements and messages to each of the guest groups. The three groups were divided into the following categories, Press, Dealer and Fleet Customers. Each wave consisted of multiple business meetings and functions, a Gala dinner and a ride and drive activity throughout Oman. AOS s responsibilities included the development and management of concept creation, venue scouting, branding, gifts, collateral, communication materials, venue management and set up, launch concept, entertainment sourcing, production set up, lighting and sound. In addition AOS managed all guest relations, visa management, transfer and transportation arrangements, logistics, vehicle fleet management, hotel accommodation, food and beverage functions and provided on site administrative assistance.

26 Case Study 6 Event Type: Business Conference Client: Mideast Data Systems (MDS) Forever Young Event Name: Forever Young Date: July 2006 Location: Faraya (Mountain Ski Resort), Lebanon Attendees: MDS global associates No. of Pax: 250 guests Description: AOS chose to organize this three day conference in a secluded ski resort in Faraya, Lebanon so that guests, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, could focus on this very important business conference while enjoying the serenity and picturesque surroundings of the mountainous region. On behalf of the client, AOS designed a custom, secure website in order to manage all guest correspondence, registration, transfer and accommodation requirements and personal details. The website included an introduction to the clients business and contained all details pertaining to the event including a program and content overview for workshops and conferences, activity schedules and all accommodation and function details. Guests were able to book and arrange all aspects (including selecting the programs they wished to attend) on line. In addition, AOS managed all aspects of the conference execution and management including set up of production and sound equipment, lighting, speech writing, speaker support, security and general administrative and secretarial support. Key note speakers at the conference included Lebanese, 7 Summit Climber Maxim Chaya. Various activities for guests to enjoy were arranged in between business functions to add to the value of the program. These activities included mountain hikes, quad biking, cycling and tours of the major cities and sites including Baalbeck, Jounieh Port and the Old Souks. In the evenings, AOS arranged dinners with entertainment to ensure that guests were entertained at all times and there was never a dull moment.
