2 Bigneat Ductless Fume Cabinets Bigneat filtration fume cabinets are a cost effective solution when fume, vapour or particulates removal is required remotely from ducted fume cupboards. The mobility of this type of cabinet ensures they can be sited in the most convenient location, locally to where the hazard containment is required Bigneat cabinets are manufactured to the highest standards and together with the latest Chemcap filters meet the world s most stringent standards: The AFNOR NFX class II and BS 7989:2001. The impregnants used in filter manufacture are hazard-free. Cabinets are manufactured from polyester coated steel. Aluminium uprights, anodised for added protection, offer exceptional structural strength to support the 8mm thick transparent acrylic panels that are easy to keep clean and offer excellent resistance to fire. In the latter option the cabinet is secured to the trolley and the integral base tray to ensure stability and safety. The trolley has four 130mm diameter castors, two of which are lockable. A shelf is included which is located at mid-height. It is manufactured from galvanised mild steel and protected with a white, acid resistant, anti-corrosion polyester coating. 4 Astec Monair Plus and Monair Standard Fume Cupboards The Monair range is the latest recirculating fume cabinet from Astec; they offer stateof-the-art design combined with excellent value for money. The principle of filtration is simple; contaminated air is drawn through two separate filters with clean air recirculating back into the laboratory. Astec fume cabinets are used in a diverse range of applications, from standard laboratory usage, through to complex forensic applications. 6 Astec Monair 5 Bench Mounted Fume Cupboard The Monair 5 is a small bench mounted unit ideal for using or weighing small amounts of chemicals. Lighting is at the rear of the unit giving full illumination of the work surface. Carbon filters can be selected from a wide range to suit your application. The Monair 5 features a filter clamping system for safe and easy installation and removal of filters. A face velocity of >0.5 m/s ensures containment of fumes or particulates for operator safety. A visual alarm will alert the operator if the airflow falls to an unacceptable level. 7 Bigneat Mini Cleantec 1/2 Mini Cleantec 2/4 Mini Cleantec Dust and Fume Containment Systems The Cleantec range of hazard containment systems is designed to remove dust and fumes at the source from your process or working environment. They are ideal for extraction at one to four points of use. Mini Cleantec Systems are extremely compact yet able to handle large volumes of dust and fumes. Apart from taking up very little space they are also easy to use and maintain. There are several features of the Mini Cleantec System that enable it to efficiently handle and absorb large volumes of chemical material. Central to this is the powerful centrifugal air-fan which incorporates automatic detection of airflow (by vacuum sensor). It is able to ensure a constant flow throughout the life of the dual filtration system and maintains containment efficiency at all times.
