The MCPC 2017 wants t stimulate research and practice that see MCP as an pprtunity t extend r even revlutinize current business mdels. The current trends f Industrie 4.0, digital manufacturing, and the rise f smart prducts allw fr a fresh perspective n MCP: Custmizatin 4.0. We invite yu t submit yur wrk addressing the cnference tpics listed belw. We will give pririty t papers n the main theme, althugh we will als cnsider papers n related MCP tpics. All papers must be written in English. T ffer a balanced cnference prgram, we equally invite papers frm practical and academic backgrunds. Academic research fr full presentatins: Submit a cnceptual, empirical r experimental paper f apprximately 5000 wrds. If the paper is accepted after a blind peer review prcess, yu will be given a 15 minutes slt t present in a cnference sessin. Accepted papers will be published (ptinal) in a Prceedings bk published by Springer and will be available nline at Springerlink (full indexed with ISBN, ISSN, and DOI). Decisin t present in this categry will be made based n full shrt papers nly. Hwever, yu are very much invited t submit an abstract earlier n the theme and methd f yur research t get an initial infrmal feedback whether yur research fits the fcus f this cnference. Academic research fr shrt presentatins: Submit an extended abstract / shrt paper f apprximately 1000 wrds. If the paper is accepted after a blind peer review prcess, yu will be given, in additin t a space in the pster exhibitin, a slt at a breakut sessin t present yur key ideas in frnt f a large audience. Practice experiences: We invite presentatins sharing yur experiences and learnings n yur way t MCP. Please submit an abstract r speaking utline f yur presentatin. Presentatins shuld nt cntain any cmmercial messages, but need t fcus n learnings and experiences f building and running a MCP enterprise r business unit. There is n special frmatting r space requirement, just submit thughtfully what the prgram cmmittee needs t knw t evaluate yur prpsal. All abstracts submitted shuld include title, authr(s), keywrds and a shrt presentatin f the manuscript text (please use the Springer s templates and guidelines at this website: Althugh they are prepared fr LNCS, they are recmmended by Springer fr cnference prceedings in general.) All abstracts, alng with full (academic) papers must be submitted by using the Online Cnference System (OCS) made available by Springer. The submissin system will be pened in April Once the system is pen, create yur registratin fr lgin, enter the required data abut yur paper, and uplad a PDF cpy f yur paper. Fr the final uplad, the Cnsent t Publish must be filled. We will publish the Prceedings in cperatin with Springer. All full papers will be available n Springerlink.
