4 PROGRAM We would kindly ask you to present yourself at least 30 minutes before the start of your presentation at the information desk at the entrance of the Big Data Expo. One of the team members of the Big Data Expo will receive you there. Moreover don t forget to get your free exit ticket for the parking place at this desk. Lecture hall 1-6 Your presentation should last no more than 30 minutes including Q&A (reserve ±5 minutes). After the presentation the hall will be reserved for preparations for the next session. In each hall there will be a moderator present who will announce your lecture and who will manage the Q&A with the audience. 5 SPEAKER INFORMATION Speakersticket With your personal speakers ticket you have access to the Big Data Expo, all lectures, the special VIP-lounge and the Big Data Expo drink that will be held on Wednesday 19 September 2018 at 5:00 PM. In the VIP-lounge you will have the possibility to prepare your presentation and to meet other speakers (there is free access to the WiFi connection). After your presentation you are more than welcome to join us for a drink and a snack in the VIP-lounge. Please print your ticket and take it with you to the entrance of the Big Data Expo. Your ticket will be valid for two days, a link your ticket will be provided in the mail. Entrance At the entrance of the Big Data Expo, hall 4 of the Jaarbeurs Utrecht, a separate entrance is created for speakers titled Sprekers VIP Premium. You don t have to wait in line with visitors of the exhibition. After showing your ticket you can immediately present yourself at the information desk. 6 TECHNICAL INFORMATION We will take care of the necessary facilities inside the halls. In the hall the following facilities will be at your disposal: Laptop with Office2010 (PowerPoint) and Flash: this laptop will be placed with our technical department, you will receive a wireless presenter to control your presentation. Beamer ADSL internet (1 mbps) Projection screen: format 16:9 Be aware this is a widescreen display* Lectern Headset with microphone Water *Make sure to adjust your presentation to the size of a widescreen display (16:9). This adjustment can be done in PowerPoint: Choose Design and click on Page Setup. Change the slide frame format to 16:9. In case you are using a video during your presentation, we advise you to download it in advance. We don t advise you to make use of live streaming. Please bring your presentation yourself on a usb-stick. In the lecture halls technical support will be available. 7 SHARING YOUR PRESENTATION Presentation sheets that are used during the Big Data Expo will be published on our website after the event. To ensure we can publish the presentation in the day(s) after the exhibition, we will make a copy of the presentation you bring to the lecture. If any content in your presentation can not be used for general publication, we kindly ask to bring a version of the presentation with you where this specific content is omitted or covered. Another possibility would be to submit a PDF file of the presentation. If you not want the presentation to be shared, you can report this to the technician. 8 PROMOTION Promote your lecture The 4 th edition of the Big Data Expo is getting already a lot of attention. Contribute yourself by: Twittering with #BigDataExpoNL and follow the Indicate on Linkedin that you are giving a presentation during the event. Indicate on that you are giving a presentation during the event. Mention your participation and the event in your newsletters, your signature in your s or on your website Invite your business contacts to visit the Big Data Expo. You can register guests for free by sending an to marketing@ogz.nl. 10 ROUTE MAP Train Jaarbeurs is located next to Utrecht Central Station, making it very easy to reach by train. From the Central Station, follow the signs that read Jaarbeursplein. It is a five-minute walk to the venue of the Jaarbeurs. Car & Parking If you are travelling by car, please follow the blue ANWB signs that read Jaarbeurs from the Utrecht Ring Road. Jaarbeurs has ample parking space on its own grounds in the centre of Utrecht. 11 HOTEL INFORMATION A number of rooms have been blocked at the NH Hotel for participants of Big Data Expo, which can be booked at a reduced rate of 165, - per night (for 1 person, including breakfast). This price is based on availability and may change as the exhibition comes closer. Do you want to book at a reduced rate?
