4 Mastercard and Jack Henry & Associates have joined together to provide Mastercard issuers with a custom Priceless Surprises promotion, delivering once-in-a-lifetime experiences to Mastercard cardholders. The goal of the campaign is to create top of wallet behavior, while rewarding cardholders based on having and using a Mastercard.

9 Overall, JHA saw aggregated performance lifts in spend (1.2%) and transactions (2.0%) 158 Financial Institutions opted in to participate 474 cardholders won a $500 statement credit 1867 total downloads from the Marketing Materials portal

We toured Ellis Island, Liberty Island and the 9/11 Memorial with a fantastic tour guide. We enjoyed the double-decker NYC bus tour and saw some interesting sights along the way. We wanted to really experience New York, we experienced flagging down a NYC taxi, riding the subway, and also found our way to an off-thebeaten-path jazz club. The Book of Mormon on Broadway was fantastic we laughed throughout the entire show! It was such a thrill to be in the theater district seeing a Broadway show! Thank you for a trip of a lifetime! 13 How it works Promotional Period: 1/1/2019 3/31/2019 Mechanics Every time a cardholder of a participating CPS Mastercard issuer makes a purchase using their Mastercard during the promotion period, they are automatically entered into the Priceless Surprises promotion Cardholders can also enter via alternate method of entry that doesn t require purchase Free method of entry details are noted in the Official Rules, which will be available online once the promotion starts After the promotion period, winners will be randomly selected

14 Eligibility criteria Consumer Eligibility Criteria: Cardholder from an opted-in CPS Mastercard issuer prior to the Promotion Period start date 18+ Not an employee of participating CPS Mastercard issuer or family member U.S. Citizen Account is in good standing Transaction Eligibility Criteria: Transactions made with a consumer Mastercard debit or credit product are eligible, with the exception of HSA and small business products Debit PIN and International transactions are not eligible To learn more, your cardholders can view the Official Rules, which will be available online

16 Conducting winner selection Promotion Administrator will receive all eligible Mastercard transactions from Mastercard s data warehouse and select potential winners by performing a random drawing from all transactions after each entry period (1) First Prize drawing for each participating CPS Mastercard issuer (1) Grand Prize drawing out of all eligible transactions

17 Winner verification & prize fulfillment process Promotion Period 1 2 Conduct Winner Selection Identify Cardholder 3 Perform Winner Verification & Prize Fulfillment 4 Release Winner Amplification CPS Mastercard issuers will drive awareness of promotion via marketing materials Promotions team CPS Mastercard issuer Mastercard s data warehouse sends eligible transaction data to Promotion Administrator to conduct random winner selection Jack Henry & Associates will notify CPS Mastercard issuers of their potential winner(s) and request cardholder information using the address that was provided for the quarterly reporting notifications CPS Mastercard issuers are responsible for responding with cardholder information within the designated timeframe CPS Mastercard issuers are notified of their respective cardholder winner(s) once all winners have been verified Grand Prizes: Promotion Administrator reaches out to potential winners and fulfills the prize. Additional documentation will be required First Prizes: Mastercard fulfills the statement credits. CPS Mastercard issuers are encouraged to congratulate their winners on social media and/or other marketing channels

18 How Can Financial Institutions Participate?

19 1 2 3 OPT-IN 9/24/ /22/2018 All CPS Mastercard issuers are required to digitally opt-in in order to participate. There will be no extensions to the opt-in period. PREPARE 11/1/2018 All participating CPS Mastercard issuers will have access to marketing materials. Download, customize and print these materials prior to the promotion start date. PROMOTE 1/1/2019 3/31/2019 CPS Mastercard issuers will utilize the marketing materials provided to motivate their cardholders to use their card. Each participating CPS Mastercard issuer will have a guaranteed First Prize winner who will receive a statement credit. NOTE: If your financial institution plans to de-convert from JHA Card Processing Solutions during the promotion period, you will be unable to opt-in and participate in the promotion

20 Opt-in experience 1 OPT-IN Principal and Affiliate issuers may opt-in to participate All fields are required to be filled in; financial institution name and FI# will auto populate after typing in the first few letters or numbers All check boxes must be checked Click OPT-IN to complete the opt-in process Each representative that will need access to the portal must register during the optin period FIs cannot opt-out once opted-in

23 Marketing materials 2 PREPARE The marketing materials are an easy and turnkey way to amplify the program to your cardholders to drive card usage! Materials include: statement insert, self-mailer, social posts (3 Facebook & 3 Twitter), banners (160x600, 300x250, 728x90), template, and in-branch poster All materials can be easily customized with your logo using either Photoshop or InDesign Each CPS Mastercard issuer is responsible for printing, production and distribution Materials will be available for download on November 1 st (via the Promotion Portal) until the end of the Promotion Period Start marketing to your cardholders January 1 st (when the promotion begins) When opting in to the promotion, you will agree to promote the program in at least two of your marketing channels (but more is encouraged!)

26 Best practices 3 PROMOTE 1. Using a combination of the statement insert and will help you reach the most cardholders each month throughout the promotion 2. Place banner ads on your website where cardholders will see it when paying bills 3. Consider your social following before pushing out Facebook & Twitter posts - Should align with overall social strategy and content calendar - Frequency depends on how many times you typically post: posts per week: Post three weeks in a row, rest one week, then repeat - 1 post per week: Post one/two posts per month 4. Depending on your budget, the self mailer is an additional way to reinforce your marketing initiatives throughout the promotion

27 Continuing the conversation 3 PROMOTE Encourage branch associates to discuss the promotion with your cardholders when they visit the branch Congratulate your winners in your marketing channels once prizes have been awarded These communications will Encourage other cardholders to use their card Create excitement around chances to win Give credibility to the promotion For privacy reasons, a winner's last name, address and zip code cannot be disclosed to the public.
