1 Parts Consultants Performance Points = CASH Eligibility is a comprehensive incentive program based upon your dealership s After Sales performance. Simply put, AIM rewards you for growing your service and parts business! Incentives are points-based and use your performance to pay you cash rewards. As a Parts Consultant at a Volkswagen dealership, you are eligible to participate! Exclusive to Parts Consultants, three different promotions will run during the second half of Each promotion also has specific dealer requirements (e.g. Wholesale program participation), so be sure to check the detailed rules for overall eligibility. Incentive earnings for each promotion will be posted to your AIM dashboard within 7 days of the close of each month. Total monthly dealership earnings will be determined based on your dealer s total performance for the promotion running that month (see below for details), and earnings will be divided evenly between all eligible Parts Consultants at your dealership. For each 10 points earned you get $1. This AIM incentive program is open to ALL Parts Consultants* that are: Enrolled in the Volkswagen Academy Learning Management System** for the promotion period*** Employed by an Authorized Volkswagen dealer for the promotion period Registered on the portal ( prior to the start of the promotion period. NOTE: all participation subject to review by Volkswagen of America, Inc. *Only these positions earn points for reward dollars. 2 Dates: July 1 August 31, 2017 Focus: Capturing valid s for your Active and Inactive Wholesale customers Payout: For each valid address captured for your Active or Inactive Wholesale customers who did not previously have a valid address on file, 10 points are earned by your dealership Details: Your dealership must be enrolled in the Volkswagen Wholesale Parts CRM program as a Standard (Level 2) or Premium (Level 3) dealer to participate Applies only to Active or Inactive (DMS must show sales to the customer within the past 2 years) IRF and body shop Wholesale customers (must be registered as a general automotive repair shop or automotive collision repair facility, possess a valid U.S. tax ID, and be located in the United States) Only s captured for customers without a current valid on file in the dealer s DMS qualify o For an to count towards the promotion, it must be Entered into your DMS and an invoice must thereafter be generated OR Entered into your DMS and entered into the CRM portal via CRM portal > Customers > Customer Management o Note: dealer DMS data will be reviewed as of June 30 to determine existing valid s on file o TIP: to quickly identify your customers that do not have a valid on file, log on to the CRM portal > Customers > Customer Database Update, check the Invalid box, filter on Active or Inactive Segment customers and select Search to run the report s captured are subject to validation by Volkswagen It typically takes 2-3 business days for updates from your DMS to the CRM portal What job codes are eligible? PT-CON *Only this position earns points for reward dollars. Parts Managers are not eligible for these promotions. Points / Rewards Dollars Expiration Points earned in 2017 will expire at the end of the day March 2 nd, In order to receive the rewards earned on 2017 performance AIM users must CASH OUT before the end of the day March 2 nd, How can I register? 3 VWoA assumes no tax liability for the cash incentive. For tax purposes, 1099 forms will be mailed directly to recipients at the beginning of the 2018 calendar year and will be the sole responsibility of the reward recipients. Points are non-transferable. Total points earned is determined based upon your dealership s overall performance with respect to the promotion. Total points accumulated by the dealership will be divided by the number of eligible participants for the dealership and paid out in equal shares to each participant. The points that you earn will be deposited into your AIM Account 7 days after the close of the final month of the promotion. All s captured must be entered into the DMS by the final day of the promotion to be eligible for consideration. Points are non-transferable. For example, if a Parts Consultant becomes a Parts Manager, they will lose the points they accumulated unless they CASH OUT before changing positions so you MUST CASH OUT before changing roles. This is true for any role change at a dealership. The participants in AIM should also CASH OUT before changing dealerships if they do not cash out prior to changing dealerships, they will lose all points they accumulated. If you have not participated in a promotion before, the Volkswagen Incentives department will have Citi ship you a new Citi Debit Card the first time you CASH OUT. This debit card will be shipped to your dealership address with your name on it after cashing out. Please be on the lookout for your new card in the mail. It should arrive within 7-10 business days after payments are processed around the 25 th of the month. How do I check my balance? Please call How do I replace a lost card? 4 Service Advisors and Technicians Performance Points = CASH Eligibility is a comprehensive incentive program based upon your dealership s After Sales performance. Simply put, AIM rewards you for growing your service and parts business! AIM is a points based incentive program that uses your individual performance to pay you cash rewards as a Service Advisor or Technician, at a Volkswagen dealership, you re eligible to participate! This program will run throughout 2017 and your incentive earnings will be awarded at the end of each month (within 7 days of the close of each month). Earnings will be determined based on your individual monthly performance in specific categories (see below for details) and only for Customer Pay ROs. The AIM incentive program is open to ALL Service Advisors/Consultants and Technicians* that are: Enrolled in the Volkswagen Academy Learning Management System for the incentive period** Employed by an Authorized Volkswagen dealer for the incentive period. How points are earned Commodities Sales Tires: Cabin/Air Filters: Wipers: Brakes: Batteries: Commodities are items that you inspect and present for sale every day to your customers. These commodities represent a sale opportunity for you and your Dealership to sell Genuine Volkswagen Parts. We designed this program to encourage you to perform thorough Walkarounds and Multi-Point Inspections. Why? To help motivate you to find and present any additional maintenance and/or repairs that our customers may need. Every wiper blade, battery, tire or air filter that you inspect provides an opportunity to recommend a needed service or repair to our customers. 5 Commodities Targets EXAMPLE Targets are developed by compiling the number of CP ROs handled by all of the Volkswagen Service Advisors and Technicians that work in your Volkswagen assigned Area. The total number of CP ROs in the Area is divided by the total number of each commodity sold and the result is your Area s Target Replacement Rate. Each dealership in each Area has the same targets and all that you have to do is perform at or above the Area average and you ll start earning points! Each month you hit your target replacement rate for each commodity, you ll retroactively earn points on what you ve sold that month. If there were 10,000 CP ROs written in the Volkswagen Area and there were 3,000 batteries sold on those ROs, the Target Battery Replacement Rate would be 30% (The Area Targets will be listed on the AIM portal). If you personally handled 10 CP ROs during a month, once you sell/install 3 batteries you ll earn points on all 3! In the example below, the employee handled 10 ROs, sold 4 batteries, has exceeded the target replacement rate of 30% and has earned 40 points! Battery Target Rate: 30% This means that AT LEAST 30% of YOUR ROs must have a battery replaced in order to earn points. Remember, this is only an example. In the example below, the employee s install rate is 40%, which is greater than their target of 30%, so they earn points. Your number of ROs for the month: 10 Your ROs with batteries replaced: 4 Your Battery Replacement Rate: 40% Your Points earned: 40 NOTE: This incentive is designed to drive team work. The points earned in the example have been earned by BOTH the Service Consultant and the Technician that checked and installed the battery! If an Advisor and Technician sell and install the following number of individual commodities during a month, and have met or exceeded the Target Replacement Rate, they each will earn: Tires: Cabin/Air Filters: Wipers: Brakes: Batteries: Commodity Tires Cabin/Air Filters Wipers Brakes Batteries Total Number sold Number of Points Earned

6 Program Details Points earned will be calculated at the end of each month but please allow 7 business days for your points to be deposited in your AIM Account. After the points are deposited in your account, you ll be able to CASH OUT and turn your points into cash! Please be aware that once you hit the CASH OUT button, it will take 4-6 weeks for those funds to be loaded on to your Citi debit card. NOTE: All lines & pay types on the Repair Order(s) must be closed in your DMS within the month that the repair was performed to be eligible. Please keep in mind, points are awarded on a per Part Number Basis and only for Customer Pay Repair Orders on VW VINs. The selected commodities are subject to change throughout the year at the discretion of Volkswagen of America, Inc. Any change in commodities will be communicated to AIM users accordingly. What job codes are eligible? SV-TECH (including Xpress Techs) Foreman SV-CON (Including Xpress Advisors) *Only these positions earn points for reward dollars. Service Managers cannot earn points in this program and cannot convert points earned by them to cash.
