1 Loyalty Deals in the Promotions Portal Supplier Communication As part of the Woolworths Rewards Loyalty program, we have introduced a new Virtual Deal to support Loyalty based Offers. If you participate in the Woolworths Rewards Loyalty program, the following Promotions Portal changes are applicable to you. WHAT IS A VIRTUAL DEAL? Virtual Deals are used to support Loyalty based Offers. These Offers are sent to targeted consumers via , Facebook, direct mail etc, which are then activated by the customer and then redeemed. Virtual Deals are the claiming mechanism for the value of the redeemed units and/or co op associated with the campaign (ie bonus 100 points as per the example). Loyalty (Virtual) Deals will now be displayed in the Promotions Portal providing visibility to Suppliers and the Woolworths Category teams thereby providing a complete picture of an Article s promotional activities. Example of Loyalty Offer Important Message: To ensure you receive these changes, the Cache on your computer must be cleared. Please see instructions on page 5/6. When will these changes be applicable: (Virtual) Deals will be visible in the Promotions Portal from Monday 19th February d. Questions about the changes: Please contact your Loyalty representative or WooliesXmedia@woolworths.com.au VIRTUAL DEALS Suppliers cannot Create, Edit or Copy Virtual Deals, as these are managed by the Loyalty Team, however these Deals can be viewed in the Promotions Portal. COMMENTS Comments can be added to Virtual Deals as required. Promotions Portal Update February /6

2 TO DO LIST The To Do List is used to manage the Acceptance of the Deal Sheets. When viewing the Actionable Item, CM created/updated Deal to be confirmed by Vendor, a new section: Deals (Virtual) will be displayed. The options available within the Deals (Virtual) section in the Promotional Summary, are: Open, Accept, Reject. CALENDAR SCREEN VIEW A new legend has been added to the Calendar Screen which explains the symbols that may appear on some of the Deals displayed in your Calendar View screen. The symbols are for your reference only. PH Placeholder Placeholder Deal is used for Supplier visibility of promotional activity when Funding is not provided to support the Promotional Offer. N Non Promo Deals that do not have Offers loaded, such as Co-Op and Lump Sum. In the Deal Detailed view, ensure Non-Promotional checkbox is ticked. V Virtual Used to support loyalty based Offers W Reward Not currently available P PMR Only The PMR checkbox can only be selected by the Category Team. This option is used when the Customer Offer is created outside of the Promotions Portal. Promotions Portal Update February /6

3 FAVOURITES The Deal Source filter parameter has been added to the Filter screen, use this option to filter out All / Commercial / Virtual Deals as required. VENDOR CLAIMS REPORT Changes have been made to the Vendor Claims Report to highlight the activity claimed through Woolworths Loyalty for targeted media and campaigns. Deals will now be automatically processed and reported under the following 3 sections in your Vendor Claims Report. 1. Co Op Loyalty Media 2. Scanback Deal Loyalty Redemption Cost 3. 5 CLEAR YOUR CACHE To ensure you receive the February enhancements, please complete the following applicable instructions for the Web Browser (Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer v9 or higher) you use to view the Promotions Portal. What you need to do to clear your cache GOOGLE CHROME Recommended Browser for Promotions Portal 1. Open Google Chrome web browser 2. Click on the Google page and press Ctrl + H Or from address bar, click & select History 3. Click the button 4. From the Obliterate the following items from: drop down menu, select: the beginning of time 5. Tick the following options: a) Cookies and other site and plug in data b) Cached images and files 6. Click the button 7. Close all browser windows and reopen Google Chrome MOZILLA FIREFOX 1. Open Mozilla Firefox web browser 2. From the History menu, select Clear Recent History Tip: If the menu bar is hidden, press Alt to make it visible 3. From the Time range to clear: drop down menu, select Everything 4. Under Details: tick all listed options 5. Click the Clear Now button 6. Close all browser windows and reopen Mozilla Firefox Promotions Portal Update February /6

6 INTERNET EXPLORER V9 OR GREATER 1. Open Internet Explorer web browser 2. From the Tools menu, select Delete Browsing History Tip: If the menu bar is hidden, press Alt to make it visible 3. Untick Preserve Favourites website data 4. Tick Temporary Internet Files 5. Tick Cookies 6. Click the Delete button 7.
