SEDA s normal working hours are Monday Friday, 9.00am 5.00pm. Weekend and evening work may be required on occasions. The role is based in Victoria, however the role will require travel to other states and territories throughout the year to promote the respective programs in these state and territory regions. 2 POSITION: REPORTING TO: Marketing Executive (Digital, Brand and Communications) National Marketing Manager The Marketing Executive is a wide-ranging and pivotal role responsible for overseeing the digital, brand and communications portfolios of the business. The role will include developing and implementing the organisations digital strategy, managing the organisations brands, developing and implementing key communications initiatives and the management of key stakeholder relationships. This position works in unison with other members of the marketing and admissions teams to implement and deliver a variety of important strategic initiatives across the entire business. The role is based in Victoria, however the role will require travel interstate throughout the year to manage key industry partnerships and promotional initiatives in designated state and territory regions. Primary duties: Support the National Marketing Manager to manage and deliver the SEDA Group marketing and communications plan Management of the Digital Marketing Coordinator Develop and implement the organisations digital strategy Manage relationships with key industry partners and implement promotional initiatives through their networks to maximize awareness of SEDA Group programs Develop and execute marketing campaigns to target groups/areas and the wider community and manage events including program launches and career expos Assist with the development and implementation of the organisations brand strategy Assist with developing the strategic direction for the growth of SEDA group programs Travel to interstate locations to promote the current programs and identify areas for future growth of the program Engage, inform and support SEDA Group staff on all outcomes relating to media and marketing including regular briefings throughout the year Manage and oversee the design of marketing material and promotional literature for the organization Ensure SEDA group marketing initiatives are delivered in a professional manner

3 Primary Responsibilities Accountabilities Manage SEDA group digital strategy and digital platforms Overview Develop a digital strategy which demonstrates an understanding of the SEDA Group target market Develop a structure to measure the success of the key areas identified in the digital strategy Oversee the development, management and implementation of digital campaigns Manage and oversee all SEDA Group and SEDA College social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube. Develop SEDA s profile on other platforms including Linked In and Snapchat Set targets for each social media platform to reflect business objectives Identify and implement new digital initiatives that reflect industry best practice Manage the SEDA group and SEDA College websites and drive strategies to increase traffic to these sites Manage the relationship with the agency appointed to assist with all SEDA group website and online marketing Management of the Digital Marketing Coordinator Lead the recruitment process for the digital marketing coordinator Manage & support the digital marketing coordinator in the delivery of their duties and provide feedback to them through individual meetings and performance reviews Develop detailed work plans and identify key areas of responsibility for the digital marketing coordinator CRM Crafting creative, interesting and innovative CRM strategies and tactics Taking ownership of lead generation, nurture, re-engagement and their overall performance throughout the channel Driving ongoing efficiency and improvements to ensure high deliverability, open and click through rates Maintaining up-to-date campaign reporting and develop actionable insights to continually improve the /CRM function Brand Actively support and contribute key organisational strategy pieces including the brand strategy and brand advocacy Implement key initiatives and activities aligned with the brand strategy and brand advocacy Identify opportunities to promote the SEDA Group and AMP IT UP brands with both internal and external contacts Monitor all aspects of SEDA Group corporate imagery and standards Communications/PR Identify opportunities to promote the SEDA group program through the media Identify media contacts to build relationships with and relevant resources to provide contacts with Promote SEDA group programs through print media nationally Develop press releases and media alerts

4 Market SEDA group programs across the education sector and industry organisations Manage key stakeholder relationships Manage key marketing operational initiatives Development of SEDA promotional literature Market SEDA group programs via education sector including careers networks, local learning and employment networks and schools Market programs at education/career expo s Target marketing in identified schools and areas Market and develop program initiatives via Industry partners, clubs and associations Monitor the flow/quality of information to key stake holders and the wider community via SEDA Group management, coordinators and teaching staff. Develop and up skill State managers to implement marketing strategy in each respective state. Develop and facilitate relationships with key operational staff who assist with the marketing of SEDA Group programs Manage key partnerships with sporting partners for both SEDA Group and SEDA College Manage key partnerships with SEDA Group arts industry partners Manage key partnerships with SEDA Group building industry partners Establish and manage new partnerships where applicable Manage the relationship with the agency appointed to design all SEDA Group marketing material annually in line with key marketing objectives Work closely with the Admissions Officer to ensure annual targets are met Develop, implement and manage marketing campaigns specific to metropolitan and regional areas Manage content development for promotional videos, social media platforms, monthly newsletters and websites Work with the Program Managers and Regional Coordinators to identify opportunities to market the program through industry networks Identify new opportunities to increase awareness of SEDA programs in the community Develop and monitor program specific budgets Travel interstate to meet with industry partners and education networks to identify opportunities to promote the program Promote and market student pathway opportunities Market via print material to target audience including direct mail Manage and oversee the production of all SEDA group marketing collateral and publication requirements Design and create graphics, publications and collateral using in-house graphic design software to a standard that meets SEDA Group s style guide and standards Leadership/Team Work Work as an effective team member; sharing responsibilities, working collaboratively, generating ideas and demonstrating leadership within the program team Establish positive relationships with team members and colleagues Be aware of all organisational policies and practice guidelines

5 Other Represent SEDA on relevant committees, working parties, and groups as required by the National Marketing Manager Assist other departments with marketing design and digital requirements Represent SEDA in a professional manner Undertake any other duties/tasks as directed by the National Marketing and Manager Prepare reports for the Marketing Department as required Contribute to the preparation of reports and provide recommendations Key Relationships National Marketing Manager Other Marketing Executives Digital Marketing Coordinator Development Staff Program Managers Regional Coordinators Program Teachers/Facilitators Affiliated National and State Sporting Association Staff Affiliated Building industry staff SEDA Administration Staff Young people and parents accessing the program Stakeholders associated with the program Key Selection Criteria Tertiary qualifications in Marketing or Communications or a relevant discipline and/or extensive practical experience. 3-4 years experience working in a similar role preferred yet not essential Proven ability to take initiative, work autonomously and productively as part of a team, and establish and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders both internal and external to an organisation Strong understanding of sport, ability to be innovative and proven ability to work in a fast paced environment Demonstrated ability to deliver highly effective marketing campaigns that produce tangible and measurable outcomes with limited budget expenditure Proven examples of collaborating, negotiating and communicating with a range of audiences and stakeholders both internal and external to an organisation High degree of working knowledge of relevant computer software packages relating to graphic design (such as Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop), website content management systems and desktop publishing applications
