R&D Using technology from the familiar thermal ink-jet printer cartridge in a whole new way, AIRIA s patented ScentJet technology uses capillary action and heating to consistently dispense gravity-defying, micro scent droplets of fragrance into the natural air flow of your home. Each one of the 32 nozzles in the cartridge pulls fragrance from the reservoir into separate chambers that each contain both a printed micro-heater The micro-heaters then heat the oil in 2 millionths of a second, causing rapid bubble formation and ejecting the micro-droplets into the air These microdroplets are microns in size and are very light in weight, allowing them to ride your home s natural air flow to spread throughout the space The heating source heats up less than 0.1% of the perfume at a time, so every micro-droplet is the same composition from start to finish, enabling the scent experience to remain consistent throughout the life of the cartridge. While both Febreze Home and AIRIA are connected technologies, Febreze Home uses the same wick technology that we use in our Febreze Plug products on the market today. Using technology from the familiar HP ink-jet printer cartridge in a whole new way, AIRIA s patented ScentJet technology releases a gentle scent mist to deliver a consistent fragrance into the natural air flow of your home. Can you tell me about the innovation lifecycle of this product? We started developing this product 6 years ago to deliver the ideal scent experience in home and have gone thru more than 5 major design modifications. Last year we sold our first BETA units on Indiegogo website and in 2019 we plan to offer our newly improved design that takes into account the improvements we ve made based on consumer feedback for those using the product over last 12 months. What feedback have you received from Indiegogo backers? Our Indiegogo backers love how AIRIA delivers a luxurious fragrance to a large space without being overpowering. The scheduling feature enables them to walk into their home as if there had been a candle lit for over an hour. AIRIA turns their house into a scent filled oasis effortlessly and conveniently from the palm of their hands creating a relaxed atmosphere. Does the device have sensors? Yes, in each cartridge there is a micro-chip with a temperature sensor that is designed with parameters on how to heat the perfume properly to enable the best scent experience. There are different parameters unique for each perfume to optimize each perfume s experience. Additionally, there sensors that measure fragrance usage and alert user when nearing time for a refill. How does AIRIA meet P&G Sustainability goals? AIRIA is actively working to meeting all of P&G s 2030 Sustainability goals. SCENTS Does Airia come with only one fragrance? Each AIRIA device will come with one fragrance of your choice. Additional fragrances can be purchased on our online site. What if I don t like my device? <tbc on length> We offer a 30/60-day money back guarantee. What scents are available? We plan to offer 7 different fragrances when we launch with more to follow. You can select from any of the available fragrances with the purchase of your device. Do you offer scent cartridge samplers to test out the fragrances? <tbc> Yes, we will offer a 3 cartridge sampler set where you can select the 3 fragrances you d like to try. Each cartridge will last about X hours. Can I customize my own scents?

3 AIRIA uses one scent cartridge at a time, but the easy cartridge release feature enables quick and easy changing of refills depending on your mood or season. Can the character of fragrance be controlled via the app (i.e. is there more than one character per cartridge)? The AIRIA design only holds one cartridge at the time. For future versions, we are exploring designing a device that can hold more than 1 fragrance cartridge to give you the flexibility of switching around your fragrances. How long does a scent linger in the air? AIRIA enables the user to select the scent intensity on a scale from 1-10 and can be set to linger for hours or days depending on that setting. How long do the scent cartridges last? / What is the life expectancy of each cartridge? Cartridges are expected to last on average of 600 hours depending on intensity level. As an example, a cartridge can last up to six months if only used for 6 hours a day at medium intensity. How much do the scent cartridges cost? AIRIA s luxurious fragrance cartridges will retail at $35 per cartridge. Can I change the scent cartridges even if they are not empty to build an array of fragrances for my home? Currently, AIRIA is designed to hold one cartridge at a time. You may change out the fragrance cartridges as often as you like to switch between scent. The cartridge has memory and will remember how much product is remaining in each cartridge and will send notification when the product runs low. Will the opened scent cartridge lose its fragrance over time if unused? No. Cartridge is designed to keep fragrance fresh for up to 2 years. How do I change scents? Will I need to refill with oil, cartridges or something else? Fragrance cartridges easily pop in and out of your AIRIA device. When your cartridge is running low, the app will notify you and you can order new cartridges via our online store. We will offer to send you a postage-paid envelop for you to send back your empty cartridges and properly dispose of them for you. Where can I buy refills? You can purchase fragrance cartridge refills on our website {insert URL}. You will also be able to purchase directly from the app. AIRIA will also provide a subscription service to receive a discounted price on our cartridges. SCENT TECHNOLOGY What is an "authentic scent"? How are these scents really better? Consumers have shared that our luxurious scents smell like the real thing. As we design the fragrance characters, all fragrances have been consumer tested and highly rated. We also offer a 30-day money back guarantee. If you are unsatisfied, we will refund your money back. AIRIA s ScentJet technology releases micro drops of scent into the air that travel in your home s natural air stream to deliver a consistent, far reaching scent without being overwhelming. Candles deliver fragrance from

4 a hot melted pool of wax which takes time to release scent and the scent character can change and fade as the candle ages. Plus AIRIA is flame-free! How can it deliver whole home freshness unless the product goes into a furnace filter system? The micro mist travels through your home by riding the natural air flow in your home. Is AIRIA better at uniformly spreading the scent or will it be intense near the unit and barely noticeable farther from it? Through testing, we have shown that the scent is very uniform as it spreads throughout the home. It does get slightly more intense right in front of AIRIA but the combination of micro mist and fan release, the scent quickly disperses evenly in the home. Does AIRIA remove/mask bad odors or only dispense nice odors? The AIRIA fragrances have natural odor blocking materials that help overcome malodors in the home. Does the fragrance work well in a multi-story town house? Depending on the home floor plan and the placement of AIRIA, scent can travel between floors. However, we recommend one unit per floor. Can I keep the fragrance to one room or floor only? AIRIA works best to scent one floor (vs. multiple floors). When running AIRIA at a low intensity setting (2-3), fragrance will keep to a smaller space. Can I have different scents in different rooms, and can they be on a different times? Each device can run different scents and can be independently controlled and scheduled. If I live in an apartment or dorm, will my neighbors smell AIRIA? Only if you want them to! With AIRIA, you can control the intensity setting between At the highest setting, AIRIA can reach up to 2500 sq ft. SAFETY Is AIRIA hot to the touch? No, the AIRIA device is not hot to the touch. Is AIRIA safe to use around pets? Yes, AIRIA is safe for use around cats and dogs when used as directed. As with all fragrance products, not for use around birds. Will it spray in my or my children s faces if we happen to be near it when it s scheduled to spray? Users should avoid placing their face six to twelve inches of the device sprayer. May cause irritation if sprayed directly into the eye. If eye contact occurs, rinse well with water. If irritation persists, get medical attention. Is it toxic? Before a product ever reaches a consumer, P&G thoroughly examines every single ingredient to make sure it is safe for them and their environment under intended usage. If any ingredient is unsafe, we refuse to include it from the very start.

5 Is it safe? Micro mists of gravity defying sprays makes me think that it could be a deep inhalation hazard. Even though AIRIA produces a mist that is finer than typical sprays, the particle size is still too large to be inhaled into the deep lungs. Will the mist harm wood furniture or stain drapes and upholstery? The droplets that are release from AIRIA are small enough that they will stay airborne and ride the natural airflow of your home. If the droplets do land on surfaces, they will quickly evaporate. AIRIA UNIT How big is the device? / What is the size, fit, and finish of the device? The device is similar in size to the newest Amazon Echo or Google Home device (about the size of a 16oz tumbler). How expensive AIRIA? AIRIA retails for $200 and includes 1 fragrance cartridge that lasts 600 hours. Is there only one color option for the Airia unit? (no different sizes, etc.) Currently AIRIA comes in one size and is white. There could be more options in the future. How loud is the Airia when it is on? AIRIA has one small fan which can be heard if there are no other noises in the room and you are sitting very close to the device. We found most consumers cannot hear it. How does it sit/mount in your home? Place AIRIA on any table or shelf that is within 5 feet of an outlet. The best place for AIRIA is in a central location in your home. Can the Airia prototype be anywhere in my home? What about the bathroom? AIRIA can be placed anywhere within your home. For scent to travel throughout, it is best to place in a central location. What is the recommended room size for each scent intensity? Intensity of scent is based on personal preference. Different room sizes where used and intensity/noticeability can be adjusted by the intensity settings on the device or through the app. How many units would be recommended for a large room/space over 2500 sq ft? AIRIA will work in large areas and can cover up to 2500 sq ft depending on your home floor plan. We recommend having 1 AIRIA for each floor of your home. How big is 2500 sq ft? Typical space of the common area like living room & kitchen ranges from 500 sq ft to 750 sq ft. Where (in a room) should I place my AIRIA device for best performance? AIRIA works best if it is placed near the center of the areas of where you want scent to be noticed. Do I need to plug the Airia in or does it use batteries?

6 AIRIA will need to be plugged into an electrical outlet to work. Where are the scent cartridges manufactured? AIRIA cartridges are manufactured in the Philippines. Where is the device manufactured? AIRIA is manufactured in China. Is Airia also a nightlight? AIRIA has a light that can be turned on at night even when you are not scenting your home. Is the product a warmer in addition to a fragrance system? AIRIA is not a warmer in that it does not evaporate fragrance such as candles and wax melts. AIRIA s ScentJet technology heats fragrance by sending a small electrical current to atomize the fragrance (creating the micro mist). APP & TECHOLOGY The device is just an air freshener, why does it matter if it s connected? Air fresheners on the market today don t allow for the customization and precision that AIRIA enables. Does the connectivity sit on Weave? No, the AIRIA device does not sit on Weave. AIRIA is WiFi enabled. A mesh networking approach allowing device-to-device communication may be implemented in a future release of the product. Is the device Bluetooth or WIFI enabled? The AIRIA device is WIFI enabled allowing the user to communicate with AIRIA whether at home or on-the-go. What cloud is the data stored on? Amazon cloud infrastructure is utilized to enable AIRIA. Is the device thread enabled? No, AIRIA is not thread enabled. AIRIA is WiFi enabled. A mesh networking approach allowing device-to-device communication may be implemented in a future release of the product. Does the device work on both Apple IOS and Andriod? Yes, AIRIA is compatible with both Apple ios and Android operating systems. How do I control Airia? AIRIA can be controlled in 3 ways. You can control via an app on your mobile device, via voice control, and by pressing buttons on the device. The app will give you full access to control AIRIA (scheduling, intensity control, on/off, low refill notification, and re-ordering cartridges). How do I connect my phone to the device? WIFI? Bluetooth? For first time setup, a Bluetooth connection is required between your mobile device and Airia. Once AIRIA is on your home WiFi network, all communication between your mobile devices, voice assistants and Airia is managed through the cloud, allowing you to change settings on your Airia from anywhere.

7 Do I have to be near or connected to the same WIFI network of the app to activate it or customize changes? No, you will be able to connect with AIRIA home or away as long as AIRIA is connected to the wifi in its location. Can I activate the device through the app? Yes, you are able to activate the device through the app. What are the benefits of having it on a schedule, aside from not perfuming an empty house during work hours? Putting your Airia on a schedule (or creating saved routines) allows you to automate the scenting of your home around your lifestyle. You can save multiple routines for different scenarios and set Airia to any of those routines when you like. This type of automation is consistent with experiences provided by many smart home products, allowing consumers piece of mind in knowing they don t have to remember to turn devices on or off manually. Can the app control multiple base units if there s more than one in the home? Yes, you ll be able to control multiple base units using the same app. Does it work with Apple HomeKit and scenes? Integration with Apple HomeKit and scenes will be explored in a future release of AIRIA. Is it possible to sync it to other existing smart home apps (Nest, Alexa, Google Home, etc.) instead of downloading a stand-alone app? Upon initial release AIRIA will integrate with Amazon Echo. Additional integrations will be explored in a future release of AIRIA. Can I control Airia from the unit itself? Yes, you have basic controls on the device including turning the device on/off, adjusting scent intensity, and turning the light on/off. Can I control the lights on Airia? Yes, you can turn the light on/off, create a schedule for when the light turns on/off and select your light color from the app or via voice control. You can also manually turn on/off light. Is the unit or app monitoring anything and sharing any data about me? Any information you elect to share will be done so only with your consent.
