10 Innovation Special Interest Group (Decision) What does NHS Supply Chain want to achieve/understand from the creation of a Special Interest Group? Understand existing levels of supplier engagement with customers for product and service adoption What do suppliers believe are the main barriers to adoption with customers? Understand suppliers response to the principle of using DMAIC, processes to identify the savings and benefit opportunities for key innovations and consequently supporting product adoption How can we ensure that savings and benefits data is accurately validated so it can be confidently communicated to customers through NHS Supply Chain s Libra reporting process Which bodies do we believe could do this validation? Input into a process to handhold suppliers through the innovation scorecard and to seek the groups help in raising awareness of the scorecard. Input into developing a supplier toolkit to help suppliers drive sales of innovative products. Is there more that the Supplier Board and its members could do to support the above? Share best practice where suppliers have been successful in achieving adoption An understanding how AHSN s will work and how Suppliers/NHS Supply Chain should interface
