1 A CREATIVE MASTERCLASS CREATIVE EVENT SALES, SPONSORSHIP & MARKETING 9:30am pm This masterclass is specially designed for experienced organisers, marketeers, sales & sponsorship professionals who wish to revitalise their approach to sales, marketing and sponsorship.

2 The environment in which we operate when we sell the main elements of our events is exceptionally dynamic and our tried and tested processes and now being tested; and they are straining to cope. The environment in which we promote our events is one with: - much more competition - a downwards push on revenue - an environment where we have to consider the design of our event and how our attendees, and those who take stands and sponsorship packages, interact with our events. In short it is very different from only a few years ago. In order to raise the revenue we need to make our events a success we have to address the true value our participants and stakeholders derive from our events. And we have to find our unique selling points. There is growing evidence that there is little point using cliches like must attend event and unique networking opportunities instead we must create content and messaging that our stakeholders will engage with and share. We must now demonstrate to our attendees that our events really are must attend. Gone are the days when we can just say it, now we have to prove it. Following this course attendees will: - Have an overview of best practice for their main communication channels - Have been able to refocus their messaging to potential attendees, exhibitors and sponsors - Understand the power of a content marketing strategy - Be able to outline a content marketing strategy for their next event - Leave with dozens of practical examples to make their sales and marketing messages fizz - Take a more creative approach to those events
