3 mav Trade Events Content Page The industry meets and makes valuable contacts at the trade events hosted by mav. The highlight is the annual mav Innovation Forum, which will celebrate its 10th anniversary on April 18, 2018 in Böblingen. We expect arond 50 partners and up to 1,000 visitors again. Our numerous corporate forums, usually attracting between 100 and 300 visitors, are just as successful. The expert forum on "high-strength turned parts" that we held in the Rottweil power plant together with Tornos in 2018 set an example. One format that will continue to gain even greater prominence in 2018 are the joint stands and theme parks at important trade fairs. After the success of the Industry 4.0 area at the EMO, this concept will also be applied at the METAV, AUTOMATICA and AMB. What is also interesting here is our mav Innovation Forum China, which will be held for the 5 th time already in Chongqing in "It's the duty of mav's editorial staff to correctly identify and explain trends within metal working. Technological developments are described clearly and competently. Reports from the field reveal exactly how end users can benefit from new machines, tools and other equipment relevant to machining technology. We take a look behind the scenes and view ourselves as an active mediator between machining plants and manufacturers of production equipment. In print media, online and at trade events, it is our intention to promote vibrant exchange within the machining community." Dipl.-Ing.
