2 The British Dyslexia Association (B.D.A.) is a national charity. Our aim is to achieve a dyslexia friendly society for all through listening, supporting and empowering people. We are committed to ensuring that every individual with dyslexia is able to fulfill their potential, across all age ranges and sectors of society. We believe we are the voice of dyslexic people. The B.D.A. provide a free, accurate Helpline service, a range of membership opportunities, projects and campaigns, as well as training, events and conferences that this year includes the B.D.A. International Conference and EXPO 2018.

3 The 11th British Dyslexia Association s International Conference (IC) and EXPO is a leading conference on Dyslexia/Specific Learning difficulties across the age ranges, for the latest in research and practice, exciting developments and inspiration. The BDA are delighted to work with Professor Susan Gathercole (Cambridge University) as IC 2018 Chair and the International Conference committee as we build a great event. The conference theme of Evidence to Practice and Back Again will link research through to good practice and this Flagship event will present speakers, experts from across the world and professional practitioners. New! We will also be providing even more hands on practical opportunities within our live demo zone. There will be our largest ever EXPO exhibition space featuring useful exciting materials and technologies, utilising the fantastic facilities available at the Telford International Centre. 4 The BDA's International Conference is a unique event that attracts delegates and organisations from around the world. The atmosphere, networking opportunities and international exposure companies can enjoy during the 3 day event is incredibly beneficial and provides a real legacy after conference. With more than 700 delegates expected to attend, drawn from education, training and employment sectors, exhibitors have the opportunity to connect with their customers directly and promote their products and services throughout the event. 11 DATA PROTECTION NOTICE We collect information about you when you register with us to place an order for products or services. We also collect information when you voluntarily provide feedback and participate in other events, for example conferences. All the information that we collect is held securely on our Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) for a total of one year (for Stand booking information) and for a total of 30 months (for any additional services and events). This information is used to process your order, manage your account and, if you agree, to you about other products and services we think may be of interest to you. We will not pass on your information to other companies for marketing purposes and will only share it internally or externally in order to enable us to carry out the services you have requested, for example placing an order. Payment Terms: Full payment on receipt of invoice. If, for whatever reason, the payment is not received within 30 days of invoicing, the organisers reserve the right to cancel your order. The exhibitor agrees to adhere to the following cancellation terms: The exhibitor is free to cancel their order at any time. Should the exhibitor cancel their order, the following penalties will apply: Orders cancelled before full refund minus a admin fee. Orders cancelled after % of stand cost Orders cancelled after % full payment. The exhibitor agrees to pay, on receipt, all invoices issued by the organisers. The exhibitor will pay all invoices in pounds sterling. The organisers may cancel the exhibitor s order at any time, without obligation if: The venue closes due to fire, alteration, damage or any other reason beyond the organiser s control. In the opinion of the organisers, the exhibitor s presence at the exhibition could damage the reputation of the organisers or the venue. The organisers will not accept responsibility for any illness, injury or death caused as a result of the exhibition. An exhibition area can be a hazardous place, particularly during build and breakdown. The organisers make every effort to ensure the safety of your staff and contractors and request that all staff involved are issued with a copy of the risk assessment that is provided with your exhibition manual. The exhibitor is responsible for the health and safety of all personnel they employ (including self employed contractors) whilst in the exhibition area. The exhibitor will make good any damage to the venue or equipment. If the exhibitor employs the services of an outside contractor, the exhibitor will indemnify the organisers against any loss, damage to property, illness, injury or death against all claims, costs, demands or damages arising therefrom. The exhibitor will report any injury or damage to the organisers as soon as possible after the incident. The organiser reserves the right to terminate this agreement at any time, without prejudice to any other rights, in the event that the exhibitor fails to comply with the terms and conditions of this agreement. Force Majeure The organiser will incur no liability for any failure to fulfil any obligation under this contract if prevented from doing so by any cause beyond their reasonable control.
