2 What is Unashamedly Creative? As a solution to the real world needs of businesses and simple desire to see truth come back into the marketing recipe, unashamedly creative was born. It is a marketing, copywriting, research, events and project management service that is about finding what suits a client and their business whilst employing integrity, clear communication and the right personality to the assets for the job. Unashamedly Creative is a marketing company for those who understands creativity and marketing are not mutually exclusive, no matter what level it may be required on. It is the non de plume of a freelance marketer and writer with over fifteen years experience and boundless enthusiasm for creative marketing.

3 Why Unashamedly Creative? Unashamedly Creative has been designed to be creative, yet not to the detriment of a marketing message, brand or in the use of communication. Clients to Unashamedly Creative enjoy the same standard of passion and loyalty they would from in-house staff, with the flexibility to engage the skills required on a project by project or needs basis. Meaning is once again returned to the idea of a working relationship through having a relationship between client and agency that works.

4 What is offered? Unashamedly Creative offers five core competencies and a myriad of in-house and out-sourced services. The five core competencies are: Copywriting Marketing Research Project Management Events Through relationships built up over time and networking, unashamedly creative has a host of design, web, entertainment and venue solutions on offer to any client base. Anything which requires out-sourcing will be made known to the client prior to booking.

6 Petrol Records Working for Xtentia, I was put in charge of new business acquisition. Selfishly, I didn t follow the normal route of business acquisition. I didn t aim for the IT clients or leverage the centralized strength of the agency, I went after clients I wanted to work with. Petrol was one of these. Petrol Records is headed by C.M. Murphy, the guy attributed with launching INXS and being their manager for some 15 odd years. When I contacted C.M., it was with an raving about my passion for music and wanting to work with Petrol because I believed in his product. I got a phone call pretty much the next day saying he wanted to know more. Duties included: Taking his launch of from being six months behind and monstrously over budget and building the entire site and launching it within 3 months. Building from scratch Building a companion portal for the Petrol products geared towards business to business sales (see next slide) plus writing all the copy.

7 Petrol Records B2B Site This portal is designed to demonstrate all the content that Petrol Exotic, a new lifestyle brand born from record label, Petrol International, has to offer to various business sectors. The purpose of the site is the following: Demonstration tool for Petrol staff and supporting sales and marketing agencies when speaking to interested potential resellers. A centralized, business geared showcase of Petrol Exotic content in formats for mobile, pc, ipod, WebTV and webradio. Geared towards supporting direct increase of brand awareness and direct sales of Petrol Exotic via their reseller channels. My role included: Overseeing the creation of the site from design to launch Writing all the copy for all the pages excluding C.M. s bio Testing and QA prior and post launch Launching the site

8 Buy Wine Online Buy Wine Online is a brand new online shop in the FMCG arena. The current site has had a soft launch, with promotion to begin shortly. My duties for Buy Wine Online are divided into two key areas- marketing and copywriting. This has included: A complete re-write of the entire site, including 300+ wine descriptions, all pages and the entire article gallery. Building of articles for dissemination throughout online portals, media and associated PR. Writing articles to assist and promote the site under the direction of SEO specialist. Launching all social media for the product and management of these assets. Weekly updates including the edm, social media, addition of new wines and promotions. Advising on marketing activities for the next quarter and beyond. Writing scripts for all TV and radio ads.

9 brainmates Working as a freelancer as part of the product management specialists, brainmates, I am the lead on any client based copywriting, as well as looking after communication to the brainmates and product management communities. This includes: Press releases, marketing of services Lead generation and business development copy The monthly e-newsletter I am also the lead producer for the end of year event, product bash. This includes: All research, assessment and planning of the event Event management Any communication to the intended audience Overseeing communication and advising on best possible sponsorship tactics.

10 Bubblegum Holdings Current lead co-writer for Bubblegum Holdings PTY LTD for all projects. The majority of works are designed as web-anime (so mix of writing, visual, web animation and voice). My role includes: Taking all story lines and re-constructing them for fleshing out purposes. Writing of story itself in collaboration with the original concept owner. Writing the majority of dialogue. Assistant to concept owner in sourcing appropriate visuals to send to the art department. Reviewing all animatic time boards to ensure story flows with visuals. Sourcing actors for voice recording and assisting with project management of VO work. Looking after the planned viral and online marketing, inclusive of all blogging and PR. The first project will debut Halloween, 2010.

12 Publicity Blog- The Earthcrosser Company The purpose of the blog was to engage the audience and publicise the August 7 th Fundraiser for the Earthcrosser Company in a fun, creative and memorable way. It was also used as a means of sharing the stories of each sponsor who had donated venue, time, services or products towards the fund raiser. The result were high hits of review on Facebook, plus commentary throughout the night from sponsors and those who read the story about the article with a higher verbal spread of word of mouth in terns of explaining sponsors business. On the night, approx 150 people attended and engaged in a positive way with over ten different companies. The article can be viewed here:

13 Press Release- Magnolia, Melbourne On referral from an existing client, I was contacted by the Magnolia of Melbourne to build a press release surrounding their opening in the base of the Art Series Hotel, the Cullen. Working to a two hour time frame and with bullet point information and without physical contact with the venue, I was able to create a press release for the use of the Magnolia and for Art Series Hotel with high compliments on both qork quality and turn around. 14 Facebook News- The Village Hotel The current Facebook news, e-newsletter, twitter and any free online social press surrounding the Naked Creative music and art nights at the Village Hotel are also my work. I have worked with the Village to change over the personality of their bar and leverage social media since the change of hands in Feb this year. In this time, I have assisted in changing the voice from that of a low end pub to a high end establishment with regular patronage by locals and the Sydney arts community.
