3 The LCI Prgram is a cmpetitive planning and implementatin grant designed t enhance city and twn centers and crridrs t prmte cnnectivity, walkability, and quality f life. LCI was created as a requirement fr cmpliance with the Clean Air Act Amendments f LCI Prgram seeks t increase the use f alternatives t driving alne by develping transprtatin prjects and ther prgrams t imprve accessibility, expand mixed-uses, utilize transit and supprt further develpment in the study area. ARC has apprved rughly $18 millin in study funds ( ) and assisted 112 cmmunities. The Oakland City/Frt McPhersn LCI was awarded $60,000 t cmplete the update (ttal cst: $100,000+). 3
