2 What's the difference? Vision statement (Sassy cool for: "Mission statement"...:) UVP Tag line All three bring focus to your planning, structure and marketing and inspire your staff under one united vision.

3 Your Vision Statement 3 Ingredients: #1 - WHAT your business/service does #2 - HOW your business helps people (your core values) #3 - WHY you do what you do (your passion)

4 #1 - What Simply describe what your business does, what service you provide - "My company's purpose is": Examples: * design book covers * provide business advice * provide family therapy

5 #2 - How How your business operates. Include one or more of your core values. Examples: * stimulate creativity (and/or inspiration) in potential readers * enable people to claim their freedom * foster a nurturing family environment

Why did you create this company/ service/product in the first place: * so authors can attract and inspire their ideal audience * so people can live their fullest potential and inspire others to do the same * so children can grow up in a loving, stress free environment

11 Your UVP UVP = "Unique Value Proposition" = your Sales/Elevator Pitch: How your product or service solves/improves problems What benefits customers can expect Why customers should buy from you over your competitors Introduces you to prospective customers and helps you make a strong first impression.

15 Your UVP Explain to be me in 1 sentence: What does your product/service DO FOR ME that I cannot get anywhere else? Why should I choose YOUR product/service over all the others? => clearly articulate the primary value you have to offer to your clients and customers

16 5 Steps to a Winning UVP: #1 - Address your ideal client avatar (see Video 2) #2 - Hit the problem/pain point you solve for them #3 - Share your biggest benefit #4 - Define why you are unique #5 - Capture in 1-2 concise sentences
