1 JOB INFORMATION PACK MARKETING AND EVENTS CO-ORINDATOR Hoxton Hall is a Victorian grade II* listed music hall theatre built in The venue also houses adjoining music rooms and recording space, meeting and rehearsal rooms, dance studio, art studios and creative industry workspace; Hoxton Works. In 2015 Hoxton Hall completed stage 2 capital restoration and refurbishment works supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund, Arts Council England and other partners. The project restored the theatre to its Victorian glory, significantly increasing its capacity to up to 290 and with improved technical capabilities. Hoxton Hall seeks to create exciting communal live performance experiences that are accessible to a wide range of communities.facilitating and creating work that responds to this uniquely atmospheric and intimate venue. Diversity is at the heart of Hoxton Hall with an aim to develop a staff team, Board, participants and audiences that reflect the inspiring mix of Hoxton in terms of gender, race, culture, age and class. Performance Hoxton Hall s multi art form programme of contemporary performance offers a uniquely intimate viewing experience giving audiences the opportunity to pick and mix in a multimedia, multi-choice entertainment market. The Hall presents a year round to professional performance programme alongside extensive participatory programmes. Hoxton Hall is a space for artist development, a vital incubation space to make work in a supportive environment; creating bridges for participants to transition into emerging artists and producing unique work inspired by the space and place. Hoxton Hall brings communities together through entertainment. Participation Hoxton Hall aims to be a learning organisation creating interchangeable links between artists, audience and participant each user a key element in enabling the organisation continued evolution and development delivering a valuable creative cultural resource. Hoxton Hall is a Hackney youth hub working with 80% engagement from BAME local communities, delivering for Young Londoners from 7 to 19 years old, 6 days a week.

2 Entrepreneurship Hoxton Workspaces is a creative industry hub run by the Hoxton Hall charity. The 1929 Queen Mary Hostel, a place to house local working girls, was fully refurbished as a workspace in This unique period building now incorporates an adjacent, redeveloped site that houses 16 different size work units, to suit any small to medium sized creative business. Hoxton Hall has a significant commercial hire program working with film and TV companies and hosting conferences and weddings. These activities are managed through Hoxton Hall s commercial subsidiary, Hoxton Works.

3 Job Description Job Title: Marketing and Events Co-ordinator Reporting To: Marketing Manager Terms: Full Time 35 hours per week (during office hours 10am 6pm Monday to Friday, evening and weekend work may be required from time to time) Pay: Holidays: 20,500 per annum 25 days pro rata per annum plus Bank Holidays Application process: Please use the application form provided. Please applications to jobs@hoxtonhall.co.uk by 10:00am on 19 th November 2018 Interviews to take place on 28 th November Main Purpose of Post To support the Marketing and Event delivery functions of Hoxton Hall offering administrative and other support as required to meet the needs of the organisation. Key Responsibilities Marketing To keep the Hoxton Hall website up to date; including creating engaging content, managing events, blog posts and information on the website. In conjunction with the Marketing Manager to manage print material; including coordinating ordering, distribution and storage of marketing materials. To coordinate the timely delivery of advertising copy and content. This includes collaborating with the Marketing Manager in organising outdoor, digital design and print ads. To build distribution e-communications from Hoxton Hall to audience segments via Dotmailer and Spektrix. To set up and update events and run audience reports on Spektrix. To provide Marketing Manager with support on all press PR and marketing activity. Including sending out press listings, organising press nights and writing and sending press releases. To assist with marketing research, planning and audience development. Including marketing and sales reports, post-show analysis reports, customer behaviour analysis reports and customer demographic reports. To assist with the overall day to day administration of the marketing department and attend relevant meetings.

4 To update and generate content for Hoxton Hall s social media pages This includes creating content and managing the schedule through trello and hootsuite, managing facebook ads, dealing with private messages and ads on all accounts and responding to post interactions. To develop and implement reciprocal marketing initiatives and offers with external arts organisations and local media. To finalise events bookings by sending the Marketing & Box Office form and advising promoters on seating, print, ticket prices etc. Sales & Reception To assist with box office duties including take bookings and reservations over the phone and walk up sales. To write box office briefs and train evening box office staff. To respond to general enquiries either from the reception@hoxtonhall.co.uk account or over the phone in a timely fashion and ensure they are delivered to the appropriate department To undertake general reception duties including greeting visitors to Hoxton Hall To collaboratively manage the membership scheme and keep in contact with members through direct mail and e-communications. Events To act as the first point of contact for event booking enquiries. Ensure that promoters and customers are directed to the appropriate member of staff. To send out information to potential clients and promoters including private hire packs, technical information etc. To advise potential bookers on availability of dates To maintain Event Pro ensuring that all internal and external events are up to date. General To undertake general reception duties including keeping sign in sheets and telephone extensions up to date, signing for packages, answering telephones and greeting visitors. To manage stationery orders and assist with management of office systems
