3 Terminology You are probably already familiar with the majority of the common terms used on the new Product Information screen. The long description is setup via the Inventory File Maintenance. When the user clicks on the highlighted Show Long Description the related information is shown. F/M Button Should the user have file maintenance privileges, the F/M button will be highlighted and the user can click on the F/M button to view or edit the Inventory Product record for the part number being displayed. Stocking Record Information The right side of the screen will reveal the Stocking Record Information for the branch location displayed. As customary, the branch location defaults to the users originating branch location. The stocking record information originates from the history of this part. It includes the Stocking Date, Last Sale Date, Last Stock Return Date, Last PO Receipt Date, Last Transfer-In and Last Transfer-Out Dates (if multiple branches apply), Last Stock Adjustment Date, Branch POP Code, QOH/Min/Max (Quantity on Hand and Stocking levels), Inventory Value dollar amount, how much Excess Stock is on hand and the Excess Stock Value dollar amount.
