11 What should you do now?

12 What should you do now? Decide if you want to write blog posts, do a podcast, do live shows, or make a course. For all marketing, consistent content is better than hit or miss. Blog posts schedule your time to write 1 per week. Block your calendar, then post it to your website (250 to 350 words is fine). Then create an image on Canva.com that goes with the post. Repost it to Linkedin, Twitter and Facebook with the image. Schedule social media posts with Hootsuite. Podcast get a Yeti Blue mic and plug it into your computer. Invite a guest over Skype, and record the session with Audio Hijack Pro. Then edit the file (to take out the uhms and coughs) on Garage Band, and then upload to a host site like Spreaker.com. The host site will push the file automatically to itunes for you. Live content decide if you want to do it on Facebook or Youtube. Decide the content you want to talk about then hit Live. You only need to talk for a minute or 2. Be concise and talk about 1 thing, not many things. Then point them to your website in the comments for more information. Make a course This takes a lot of planning and marketing. It s typically hard to start courses unless you have a strong following, or have a lot of clients. People attend courses from people who are considered experts, so make sure you are considered an expert in your field. Use a content site to publish writing, homework assignments, Q&As, etc. Sites like are a good start. You ll also need to develop a marketing plan. Kacee Johnson s session at 1:30! 12
