3 LETTER FROM THE MANAGING DIRECTOR FADI MOUKANZAH MANAGING DIRECTOR Since my early adulthood years, I was always fascinated with books. The stories they tell, the education they spread, the discoveries they help us make but above all I felt this great respect for the creativity, ingenuity, skills and tremendous efforts that writers put to deliver their master pieces. This fascination was met with my first job with the leading publisher and distributor of books in Lebanon. I joined in the capacity of a sales executive. The challenge felt great. I felt special but above all needed to study the products I am selling and that led me to read and understand the books I was promoting. I felt in place with a career potential that is as unlimited as the imagination, education and skills of the writers of the books I was selling. My love to the profession led me to foreign countries and saw me engaged with all matters related to the publishing profession. After scoring many successes and moving up the ladder in the industry, the year 1995 came and I established my own publishing house. I always felt this urge to promote knowledge, I assimilated every piece of information I could gather from writers, publishers, and readers. Whether academic or experimental, every book I published presented my gift to society. Years passed, Universal Publishers grew locally and regionally. Our list of published writers exponentially grew the governmental, semi governmental, public and private authorities that adopted our services gave the momentum to expand our business. Our offices in lebanon, ksa and uae are synchronized to deliver the quality and quantity our clients require.
